Stefon Diggs visiting Patriots

Considering he's coming off the ACL, he's probably not going to get better than that. 2/30 with the 2nd being one of those kinda-option years they've been doing and a nice guarantee, would probably be enough to get it done.
Yeah I was wondering what the depreciation value would be as he is now a year older and the injury. I really don't focus much on the contract aspect so thanks for the insight.

That would be a complete no brainer.

If we draft 1 or 2 WRs, along with Signing Diggs,
Two of the current WRs are gone.
I would guess Bourne is the one out due to age/cap, then it’s Polk, Baker, Boutte fighting it out:
We should sign Diggs, draft a WR in round 1 or 2.
Depth chart is

Diggs
Rookie
(Douglass) (slot)
Boutte/Hollins/everyone else fighting for 2 spots

Followed by
“Diggs signs incentive based deal with KC worth up to 12 million”
They just resigned JuJu. They already have Rice. If they sign Diggs that'll be 3 WRs with bum knees.

It was more in jest, but maybe they’ll get a discount at the surgeon for so much business.

True.

Also the guarantee of two dates against Buffalo might be something you can't put a price on.
Not to mention the added bonus of Minnesota and potentially Houston the year after.

I know. My post was as well. The orthopedic surgeons in KC will make a killing.

I saw a post on Reddit from a Bills fan that said Digg set the culture at the Bills when he arrived. He was a perfectionist and really demanding of Josh Allen, would make the offense practise routes over and over until they got it down.

The problems, or "diva behaviour" started when Josh Allen became a star and was less inclined to be led by Diggs. Diggs complained about him not being commited and being half assed about preparation and distracted by his girlfriend and their relationship broke down from there, to the point where Allen wouldn't pass to him if he could avoid it.

Is Diggs wrong?

It would explain his frustration if coaching and management sided with their QB in that situation.

Still, hopefully at 31 he knows not to do that **** in front of the cameras.

Now I want to sign him even more. He sounds like Brady.

Obviously that’s just a Reddit rumor, but it is a good explanation for what happened in Buffalo, why the Texans seemed to love him last year, and why Vrabel’s interested in him here. Sounds like a guy who would have thrived with Brady.

In terms of being meticulous about routes, footwork, etc no question.

If he got in Tom's grill about targets.......I don't think that would go over well. Rumor is when Moss did that Tom told him, "You'll get the ball when you get the ball.".

This was my observation from his time in Buffalo. I don't know about the specific details, but you could tell Diggs was getting tired of their playoff failures. It was either against the Bengals or Chiefs were he was noticeably upset after the game because they lost yet again. Defenses loaded up on Diggs and the Bills lack of supporting cast continually showed up. It was only one game where Gabriel Davis went off where they lost to KC. Other than that it was the same story - stop Diggs, stop the Bills offense.

His brother tweeted during the 2023 season that Stefon needs to leave Buffalo and that Josh Allen didn't take off until Diggs got there.

If he does he does. Having a guy make plays and be a **** is better than having the worst offense in the league.
