Your misunderstanding what I mean by try. If you went out for ice cream and there was no chocolate would you just go home or try another flavor.
That's got to be one of the most ridiculous analogies you could post.

Corporation
We need an employee who is not in a wheel chair, can lift 75 lbs, has a positive attitude, and only needs minimal instruction to do the job right..

YOU:
You didn't hire the one-legged, lazy stiff who can't lift 25 lbs and has to be constantly supervised. YOU aren't trying so I'm going to throw a tantrum and let you know how I feel..

Yeah. You make a lot of sense. *SMH*

This is why I didn't want to play your game I have no interest in your excuses for why we haven't fixed the problem. Like my whining your excuses don't fix the problem either.
Those aren't excuses.

You can't make players come to New England if they don't want to.

Kupp wanted to play in Washington State.
Metcalf didn't want to play for the Patriots.

That's REALITY. No amount of money is going to change that.

I know people want to focus on Robinson’s stats from last year (and really just his stats after he got traded), but he was significantly better than Lowe for the rest of his career so far. He has far more upside than Lowe, too.

How does Robinson, at 30, have more upside than Lowe at 25?

I do not think it will be an enormous upgrade but would make me feel more comfortable having Robinson on the squad. I got the following from PFF (I know their ratings are **** but they had the info I was looking for. I wanted to put them side by side because I needed to see it.

I am excited to see Lowe work with Marone, but like I said would feel more comfortable with Robinson on the team. I think the problem is that Robinson has a higher valuation of himself that the Pats and other teams have. Same with Jenkins

Edit: It would not let me paste my grid with the stats my post.

They were better Pass Rushers and Teams in the NFC last year.

Only freaking Patsfans would think that Vederian Lowe is better than Cam Robinson... anything to make yourselves feel better. Some of you are unbelievable.

The issue with Robinson isn't ability, it's his mentality.

The issue with Lowe isn't mentality, it's ability

One of those traits can be improved upon, the other can't
@DaBruinz it's "ability" don't say i didn't tell you anything.

I agree that’s his issue, such as never being in shape, but it isn’t improving, it’s getting worse. Believing it will get better just because he’s coming to the Patriots is folly.

Says the guy who has NO PROOF of what he's spewing.
Your not getting what I mean by try. I'm not saying try for these specific 3 guys and if you failed good effort. I mean it more like if you don't try it how you going to know if you don't like it so if you find the liquor you usually like isn't in stock maybe try the schnapps there ought to be a flavor you can make work.

Ok you don't like that analogy, i think you can still figure that I don't want a player with one leg.

They have Thomas Brown on their staff, he coached Tevon Jenkins so he has a very good read on whether to bring him in or not.

Well you actually could have traded for them and figured the contract out later.

And I'm not saying that's smart but it could have been done. Like I said I'm not interested in the excuses I'm freaking out because there is a huge hole in the living room that no one seems to care about.

I don't think they are as desperate as some fans want them to be. I think the foundation is being laid, and leaders, culture, team first guys are clearly what they are building in this early stage of the roster build. Former captains, hard work ethic, known commodities. Do we know any of those types who play WR and are available?
Absolutely agree. I'll say.. don't laugh me off the forum.. but KJ Osborn is a far better player than he was last season with all the dysfunction. He actually was lauded for his leadership prior to him being released. He's probably the one name I can come up with that's a FA..

And Jesus you guys are really parsing words on someone who was clearly just frustrated and at a boiling point. I know I was a little irrational I was the one ranting believe me I know.

Just shut up all I want is a damn LT

Don't get me wrong, I don't think Robinson would be an astute signing, I don't think anyone will get him to buy in and play to his potential. But there is an argument to be made.

I get that, but if they are going to draft a tackle in the first round then that player will start over Robinson, if they can’t they shouldn’t be drafting them.

I know that there are quite a few people here who don’t want to hear the “ winning culture” argument, but if you are going to make that argument as a new head coach, especially as one with control over personnel, you have to be very consistent about it, you can’t sign free agents who don’t work hard or put the team first. You have to bring in guys who work their asses off all day every day, not guys who feel entitled and try to coast. By pretty much every account Cam Robinson is not that guy.

Now if they have decided they aren’t going left tackle early in the draft, and Marrone is convinced he can get the best out of Robinson then try to work out a deal, but if they are taking a tackle in the first don’t both, as he will just end up overpaid, on the bench, and 15-20 million in dead money down the road.

Reiss says if Garrett Bradbury gets released by Vikings that it not be a surprise if he is signed by the Patriots.
