Yeah Me neither.

Strange pick up.

Bailing on Kupp at this price tag makes sense. At this point wait for Aiyuk to be released on April 1 and throw a bag at him.
Kupp was clearly using pats to drive up his price. I do not think he ever wanted to come here
Good veteran guy but he is overpriced
Still would like Elijah Moore as plan C

Much prefer Aiyuk over Kupp. But there again I prefer Higgins over both of them.

We still have the cap to pull off a blockbuster trade or 2
If Wolf decides to let go of a pick.

Part of the conversations with 49ers over Aiyuk earlier this month was supposedly about what lower pick we would get back from the 49ers in addition to Aiyuk for our third round pick.

If they plan on landing Aiyuk or still making a run at Higgins then I'd say that should actually make them MORE interested in Kupp. Part of why I don't think he's a very good fit is that his game is really predicated on operating in space underneath and over the middle which gets opened up by having other threats. That's why I don't think he's really going to do jack-**** or a team like ours that has crapola outside. You add him to mix with Boutte/Douglas and all he'll do is take up space in part of the field those guys are better off operating in. He'll force you to play those guys in roles and develop them in spots that they aren't really built for. And since they aren't cut out for that role they won't create any space and Kupp will be useless. Someone like Amari Cooper would be a better stop gap because even if he isn't good anymore, he at least lines up in a position and runs routes that allows you to play the younger guys in spots that suit them and let them develop in those roles.

If you're getting an Aiyuk or Higgins though, now you actually have someone who can open up the space to help make Cupp effective in what he does and it could be worth pursuing him as an upgrade.

I don’t disagree, but the comparisons to Lowe last year fail to note that for the years before that, Robinson was much better. Why did he have an off year? Is he done or was he recovering from injury? There are a lot of questions there that need to be answered. But the upside is much higher than with Lowe and gives us a little stability going into the draft.

It wasn't even an "off year". If you look, from Week 15 onward, Robinson was not the same player and it culminated in his worst game as a professional when it counted most.

I keep calling Hollins Collins. I know that's a lot of alliteration.

I read we were in on Dalman and Fries. I wonder if we were out bid or they just chose to go elsewhere.
A OL of ?? or Lowe-Fries-Dalman-Owenu-Moses would have been pretty sweet

Right, so "off games," mostly after he was traded. I think you mentioned that teams should see if there was an undisclosed injury that helped account for it.

Sign these guys...

OT - Jedrick Wills, Oli Udoh, Mekhi Becton
WR - Amari Cooper, Simi Fehoko, Elijah Moore, Terrace Marshall
DT - There's only really old guys, you better draft some

I think it's very telling that Vrabel hasn't touched Willis, Moore or Cooper. You know. Guys who were on the Browns at one point last year.

What is this infatuation with Mehki Becton and Oli Udoh? They are worse than what the Pats have currently. Which is saying something. Bringing Becton in to be a Left Guard doesn't make a lot of sense. It would be another position switch for him and there is no guarantee he could handle it.

Everyone said the free agent pool was kind of meh, which it was. Would you rather them throw bags at mediocre players or sit on it and wait until next year? I know what I would do.

Key question to be answered. Would be reassuring if we knew they just preferred to go elsewhere.
Vikings and Bears are further along than Pats, so understandable

He's a better coach than Mayo. Way better. It should make a difference. A sizeable you can see it from the jump difference.

If they go out there have get 6 wins then were gonna have a huge problem on our hands.
Why? It's an improvement over last year. You're expecting a Super Bowl?
