Yep, I was saying that some likely have some trade value.

I don’t think Vrabel will be worried about keeping Polk if he looks like **** again this year just because he’s a 2nd round pick. If it’s August and the kid isn’t doing his job close to correctly, he will be out of town. Same for Boutte or Baker.

Agree with this. Other than a few obvious players no one on this roster is safe. And he’s going to make examples of a few of these guys. Anyone who shows up out of shape, or doesn’t know their playbook is going to pay dearly for it.

Neither are his drafts so that's a super easy cut if they don't step up....They will not be another TT experiment.

Not surprising. I am guessing he wants big guaranteed $ and the Pats want low guarantees but will replace those with high incentives. Such as pro bowl/all pro selection, snap count. I don't think I've ever seen incentives for "sacks allowed" etc but curious if it's possible.

Creating $50M in cap space only actually puts them $30M in the black. After some of the signings they've already agreed to, it's likely closer to $20M. Color me surprised that Mahomes did not get a raise like Allen did...

Team sacks allowed would be an option, but there are no approved OL statistics to be used for incentives.

It must just be me but I love the Hollins signing and think that he is going to make a significant impact. I will happily eat crow if it does not happen but dude is going to have a good year. Great year for him would be 60 catches 800 yards and 8-10 TDs
I will definitely be here for your crow. Those numbers are comical. He stinks!

I personally think Cooper Kupp is being disrespected here.
This guy is still a 1st, is he working downward? Sure, is he still good? Look at last year when he got healthy, pretty damn good compared to goofy divas that want 30-40m per.
He's smart AF, and actually works with the QB/OC, even between plays... maybe we should just spend $ on the really fast young dudes...that do NOT GET IT.
He's NOT going to be a 5 year Deal.
Stop trying to recreate the old patriots. They are long gone. Kupp is an old horse, over the hill, and slow. He’s smart? Great make him a coach.

Get speed, fast twitch explosiveness, and YOUTH at wide receiver. Let them use their physical prowess to get open

For Cam Robinson I could see a deal something like...
2 years

$10M signing bonus
$1M salary first year (guaranteed)
$12M salary second year (becomes guaranteed at start of 2026 season)

$1M incentive tied to team sacks allowed
$1M incentive tied to team wins
$1M incentive tied to pro bowl/all pro selection
$1M reporting bonus
$2M in roster bonuses
Up to $4M in playtime bonuses

If he hit all those incentives each year he'd walk away with $21M in the first year between the signing bonus and the incentives, and $22M in the second year between salary and roster bonuses. So it can be reported as a "2 year, up to $43M deal" but in reality could be a 1 year $11M deal if he doesn't work out in year 1 or is replaced. And if he DOES hit all of these incentives, hell, you won't mind paying him! He'd also hit free agency again at the age of 32, and if playing well, would likely get one more nice check.

Ok who?

Sounds like Trent Brown 2.0. Except Robinson never had as good a year as Trent Brown had.

IDK, PFF (not always the best evaluators IMHO though) has consistently given Robinson very high grades over the years on pass blocking.

But other than his last two games last year, I don't think Robinson has ever dogged it as bad as Brown has when Brown goes into his "I don't give an F" mode.

Signing Cooper Kupp and Teven Jenkins today would be great!

Robinson on his worst day wasn't half as bad as Brown on his worst day. Lol

Part of the upside of the McDaniels offense is that his scheme doesn't require the WR to out-athlete the CB - he can scheme guys open by winning upstairs, making the correct decision on an option route, etc.
