Godwin was the big miss. It was clear they really wanted to bring him in. Godwin just didn’t want to leave Tampa.
Yup. If they'd added him too, things would be looking a whole lot better.

Who did we miss him?? I know we were eyeing Players on Defense: but he fills a Desperate need on Offense.
They were signing players we had connections with and I'm not sure we had one with him. He's also a risk never having played more than 300 snaps in a season.

We of all Teams can't be choosey in this area: the Offensive Tackle Position crippled us all last year. We can't leave it to chance Vederian Lowe is borderline NFL material.
I am sure Vrabel will not leave it to V Lowe. And not pay Robinson stupid money either.

So Aiyuk will be a Draft day thing??

I wonder if we'll look at more experienced placeholders like Tyron Smith and Kevin Zeitler.
Tevin Jenkins, Becton, Hernandez are a couple others still out there that are still relatively young.

At this point, they're probably looking at the draft. But you need someone in case the rookie just isn't ready. And that someone shouldn't be Lowe. Maybe Smith?

Cam Robinson helped Sam Darnold land a hefty Contract: he didn't play like complete $h!t Lowe did.
Lowe is not part of the conversation. Lowe sucks. Everyone agrees. Lowe damaged us all. We have to move on as a team to recovery.

I wonder what the delay for teams on Robinson is. Both Moores went pretty early yesterday.
My guess is he's trying to talk his family into taking the fatter offer from the Pats and making them move... again.

There are, i would not try to compete with a 4 year deal unless its structured in a way to get out of it a couple sooner. The plan most likely is to draft LT and the rookie contract wouldn’t even outlast a genuine 4 year deal with Cam
Agreed. But if Hunter is available in R1, are there any starting LTs in R2 of the 2025 draft?

I like Mekhi Becton as a LT option he got excellent Coaching last year.
1 or 2 year deal? Now you are talking. He can kick inside if necessary.

Vederian Lowe slept well last night and that bothered me. I want him to toss and turn in anguish.

He's young we can lock him up for Four Years: he can already play Guard.

I'd like to see them take a flier on Becton. could hit with him or at the very least have a backup for both guard and tackle

Smith, yes. Even Becton might work out after success at guard in Philly?
