If they sign a proper LG and make Strange the center I’d feel ok about the OL from LG over to RT. What about maybe getting a little creative and signing Mekhi Bekton to move back to LT. It’s a projection, but you take the chance. Next year Onwenu’s deal is set up that he’ll be fit so of the experiment fails you slide him back over to RG where he played with PHI last year and try again.

A few decent options on the DL still available. Couple high end free safeties. Many many RBs if they want one. Only a couple LT options. Good number of solid OGs still left. WR has many interesting options as far as depth but not really a top guy.

Maybe I missed it somewhere, but is it confirmed already that Andrews will be released?

3 year 45 million

Josh Myers has been the starting Center for the Packers for his whole 4 year rookie deal. He’s a FA but coming off a leg injury in the wildcard round. Could be a good player to sign as a “buy low”‘guy and stash on PUP. We don’t have a center signed for next year so a 2 year deal where you pay for his rehab in year 1 and have him locked in for year 2 could be good depth layering.

Maye Needs Cam Robinson.
Cam Robinson is no upgrade. I think Ozzy Trapillo would be better. I can't imagine paying Robinson real money. Even Tyron Smith is a huge improvement over Robinson and MUCH cheaper.

They need to address LT somehow. It was arguably the biggest need going into last offseason and it's still the biggest need.

I hope we get Trapilo or Ersery but until them we need a Cam Robinson to hold it down.

When would they take them? Hmm ?

They've already indirectly addressed LT to some degree by addressing RT with Morgan Moses. The problem the last few years hasn't just been that the LT is bad, it's that the bad LT play is accompanied by bad LT play everywhere else. They can further indirectly address LT by taking advantage of a still pretty good interior OL market and landing a true starter at LG that way Strange can give them a better starting center than Ben Brown last year.

Last year we had league worst or close to it play at LT, LG, C and RT. If they can fix the latter 3 spots, you're going to help the LT spot via being able to help and scheme around it more, where we've also added much better coaching. Maye should be better in year 2 at feeling pressure as well which is natural progression for a young QB.

Not sayin they shouldn't sign someone, but a rising tide can lift all ships so if the value is better at other positions I hope they go for those spots. Keep solving as many positions as you can and the remaining weaknesses become less glaring as you can hide them better.
