It's BS..because this thread comes up every two months, I bet it's the same crowd that complains about the SB half time show.

And I know I'm far from a jet fan and LOVE these uniforms, hate the unis with the big Elvis on the shoulder...

Less silver more dark blue, red trim or even the old school pat patriot uniforms are good with me.

Usually these new uniform unveilings happen 1-2 weeks before the draft. Keeps eyes on the NFL between free agency and the draft and an opportunity to show off newly signed players in the new threads. And, obviously, your top draft pick gets to hold one up on stage.

If I recall correctly there is a 'five-year rule' in regards to team's NFL uniforms, which, IIRC, means that the Patriots should be able to change them this year.


Historically there have been several teams that have changed unis when there is a major change (ownership, GM/HC, new QB, etc) as part of an overall marketing plan (out with the old, in with the new) - which would make 2025 a perfect time to update the look.

Well they're going to continue to come up. Just like the fact that we don't have receivers is going to continue to come up. Just like Brady versus Belichick will continue to come up.

We have been a terrible team since the new uniforms. To me they symbolize a post-Brady trash era of Patriot football.
