Who's with me??

My mans gonna be some disappointed when they take a lineman in R1.

I wouldn't rule out Tet in the first. Vrabel has made it quite clear he wants a WR that fits McMillan's skill set.

I’m out on Tet personally. Wouldn’t want him in the top 15. Some rumblings out there about Aiyuk anyway.

Same but here's his interview at the combine.

He seems like your typical diva type. No thanks.

I have real concerns about the N'Keal Harry comparisons.

If he was going to do drills maybe his proday would be a little interesting, but he isn't, so it isn't.

Outside of being good at 50/50 balls, there really aren't any. McMillan was 2" taller(and 9lbs lighter) than Harry at the combine. So even in contested catch situations, McMillan is better.

But McMillan has better feet than Harry as well. He runs better routes than Harry ever did, and he's more of a threat after the catch.

Harry was never considered a top 10 pick like McMillan is.

Not to mention, Harry was always a poor fit for the Patriots. A rookie jump ball guy with Tom Brady? He never had a chance.

Some of you are cold.

Like most of us, I’m quite disappointed to see him decline to work out even at his pro day and want nothing to do with him at #4 or elsewhere in the 1st round. For me this takes him from being Drake London 2.0 to someone a lot less likely to fill the big gaping hole they have at the X receiver position. If his numbers compared to London’s, considering the need and what seems likely to be available at #4, I’d want the Pats to seriously consider Tet.

Obviously Tet and his people are not stupid about what this could cost him. They likely know already which teams will not need him to work out publicly and will gladly take him anyway. All 4 NFC West teams come to mind. Don’t think for a minute that agents and teams don’t skew the playing field to get guys.

This is exactly what Drake London did in the pre-draft process so not sure how this puts Tet behind him as a prospect. To me, Tet is a smoother athlete and better after the catch than London.

I finally got around to watching more video of Tet and I agree. Tet is smooth in his routes and has moves after the catch whereas Harry was just a 50/50 and then ran like TE. I'm not sure about taking Tet at 4...maybe / maybe not...but he's not Harry.

Honest question, what is he going to do at his pro day if not work out? Photo ops?

That's true. But he also might end up fitting N'Keal Harry's skill set.

Maybe if we end up trading back. Even then, they're more likely to take Tyler Warren or someone else in a trade back (like Josh Simmons). But if that trade back also nets us a Tee Higgins, then WR isn't needed in the 1st Round. Grab Jayden Higgins in the 2nd, then you'd have Higgins and Higgins.

Sounds good to me. I hope we have the option to trade down if that's what they want. Higgins and Higgins
