Just saw this report. Wondering if the Pats failed to see a solution at LT? Or did the Chiefs grab a project based on an illusion?

The Kansas City Chiefs, who went through four starting left tackles last season, have found a player they hope will finally plug the hole.

The Chiefs have agreed to a two-year, $30 million contract with four-year veteran Jaylon Moore, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Moore played all four NFL seasons with the San Francisco 49ers and was mostly a backup.

Sources: Chiefs sign OL Moore for 2 years, $30M

Maybe. Chiefs have a good team though so it's a little easier for them to gamble on an upside play. We're desperate so probably better off spending on more stable projections.

I’m thinking we should be having Plans A B C and D, at least. Prioritize the safest projections at highest need positions. But right now there doesn’t seem to be any good projection at LT which is a big need.

One thing, it’s a two year deal and not crazy money. I’m figuring that’s the Chiefs hedging the bet. If it doesn5 work they’ve not gone in over their head and can get out without a lot of pain. If it works they’ll renegotiate to extend before he hits the market.

He was a good not great prospect, I think they may move him inside to guard... but maybe not.

Maybe but we got Milt! Milts better than any OL that was available.

Just going to have to get creative and fill LT elsewhere or settle on Robinson or something.

Can't blame him for wanting to play with Mahommes.

Perhaps, but then perhaps KC that doesn't have an over abundance of cap money needed to throw a proverbial dart at the boad and hope that he's good enough.
