A caller called into Beetle and Zo this morning and said he ran into Andrews at a hotel in Miami and said that Andrews told him that he was being cut. Now of course it could be BS. I don't think he is the same guy who posted the original rumor in the OP because he claimed he had no blue checkmark.

Again, it is probably BS and someone pushing this rumor, but I figured I would pass it along.

I don't know why we would get rid of one of the few good IOL we have and a team captain unless he is retiring.

He's not wrong though. Before he got hurt, Andrews couldn't even get out on screens, and was brutal in both run and pass. Yes, they all were bad, but Andrews looked 'cooked' bad.

I dunno. He was pretty bad last year before he got hurt - maybe he should have been competing for his job.

Probably right, and Father Time is undefeated... Still, I feel he should have a place on the 90, at least for now.

I would guess that based on the situation (age, injury etc.) this guy took a shot in the dark, so if he is right he can say 'I told you so'.

That seems most ideal. This is a second consecutive transition in two years for an organization that was so steady for over two decades. It would be nice to have a guy like Andrews around at the facility, camp, etc from now to closer to the start of the season amidst all the shuffle.

it is 5mill, I dont consider that miniscule.

They had a good opportunity last year to draft and groom a replacement. They have another one this year but it looks like the groom isn’t gonna be there this time. I really hope it’s not Strange. No offense to his fans or Strange himself, but I highly doubt the guys ability to play any position on the oline at a high level.

This creates another hole on the line, although in reality it was unlikely we would me able to count on Andrews to stay healthy anyways.

Im thinking he’s going to retire. He might go to camp with another team but I think he played his last snap in a game. Great career.
