Hate to be a wet blanket, but they big time on Alaric Jackson, Ronnie Stanley, etc. That didn't work out so well. Also, I don't want a repeat of 2021, where we spend a bunch of money on players that just don't fit and/or produce. Yes, I know that was with Bill at the end and last year with Mayo and that it's a different dynamic. But, it's still a concern.

We could have made them both Richer: but their original Teams have damaging pictures of them. You know how that goes.

Is Milton better than Barmore? We pay Barmore roughly the exact same.

No. Barmore when healthy is a beast. Williams is anywhere between 285-290, a good player, and he would be a nice addition to the line.

Seymour was a HOF talent. Not a lot of guys can measure up.

If Milton Williams upgrades our DL and we don't need to spend a draft pick, do it. That line was porous last year!

Agree completely.

They never got the opportunity to go in on them. You can’t blame the Patriots for players who re-sign with their own teams.

Why would the patriots communicate their free agency targets at the combine? How does anyone outside the organization know this. If its due to leaks, that is not good

Teams leak so agents at the Combine know who wants to be in on their players if they hit free agency.

We made the playoffs in 2021 with Mac jones.

It didn't work out with the potential FA's because they never became FA's. The Landry signing shows we can get a player that's on the market. I'm also optimistic that the players we sign will be contributors.

I hope so too.

What are you talking about? How did they bet big time on those two? If most of us here expected that ultimately Jackson and Stanley were going to re-sign with their respective teams, you don't think the Patriots expected the same? Those transactions were out of their control yet somehow in your mind they getting negative checkmark based upon the fact that neither reached free agency? Give me a break.

Panthers got him

My friend just told me this...

"Players who’ve contacted my friend about real estate. Milton Williams, Holland, Westbrook ikhine, Stanley, Harold Landry. These guys people call just to have requests ready. He handles all 4 teams."
Tell your friend he’s one for three so far so far. I’ll give him a bit of a pass if Holland lands here. Otherwise he was making blind guesses lol
