Well it seems like they're working on a Aiyuk Trade so we'll just be patient.

I doubt 2 million was gonna make or break their ability to pay DK.Freeing up that DK money.
If their owner is as cheap as ours.I doubt 2 million was gonna make or break their ability to pay DK.
Supposedly Godwin had an outside chance of coming back last year if Tampa made a longer playoff run, so I have to guess he will be pretty healthy by the time camp comes around. He suffered the injury last October, so it's already been about 5 months. I am sure he might have a little rust but he should round into form after a few games, and they'd be signing him to a multi-year deal anyway.Ugh really not excited about the prospects of heavy runs at Godwin and Stanley.
Godwin probably does the normal drill of WRs being a shell of themselves in year 1 back from injury which will mean he's closer to the Boutte/Bourne/Douglas tier than he is a true #1 next year (though obviously better than that group). After one random fully healthy season as a blip last year, Stanley probably goes back to having availability issues like he historically has (especially as he ages) and we end up starting Lowe at LT again for half the year.
Don't get me wrong, maybe Stanley's availability in his early to mid 30s is better than it was in his 20s and maybe Godwin has an unusually immediate full recovery from a serious lower body injury (and for him specifically it'd be the second one the last 4 years). Those don't seem like good bets though. All the signs are there for that to be one of the most disastrous free agent periods ever if they give those guys $50-60M/year, IMO.
Ross you think we would still sign Godwin if we get Aiyuk?? IF that happens they really love Maye.Supposedly Godwin had an outside chance of coming back last year if Tampa made a longer playoff run, so I have to guess he will be pretty healthy by the time camp comes around. I could see that happening but if T Hunter is there you still have to take him.Ross you think we would still sign Godwin if we get Aiyuk?? IF that happens they really love Maye.
I wouldn't know what to say.I could see that happening but if T Hunter is there you still have to take him.
We would have a Top 10 WR Room... Aiyuk - Godwin and Hunter. Baker and Polk on our Taxi squad: life is good.I could see that happening but if T Hunter is there you still have to take him.
That would be ideal. In order to best use Hunter as a two way player probably best if he isnt WR1 or CB1. We already have Gonzo make the WRs happen too and then just let Hunter ball out.I could see that happening but if T Hunter is there you still have to take him.

Seems like those comments were pretty indirect. I don’t know if that meant he flat out hated Vrabel. We’ll see if this season changed his perspectiveHe did have some not so good thing to say about Vrabel after he left so..wouldn't bank on it. I'm not opposed to it however.
