I don't think this will interfere with @bakes781 's mock draft game so I'll run it unless he objects.

We've talked so much about pick 4 that I've got a pretty good handle on where people stand on that pick but I'm curious to see where everyone stands at 38.

The Rules

1. Assume we have drafted Armand Membou at 4. I only use him because there aren't really any RT candidates at 38 so it doesn't really affect who you pick there.

2. Pick your 3 favourite candidates for the 38th pick in order of preference. Please try to be realistic.

3. Then pick one prospect you hope might fall out of the first round to the 38th pick. Again, please be realistic although you have a little more leeway here.

4. All votes must be in by the start of legal tampering at midday EST on Monday.

5. At that time I will count up all the votes assigning values to each (three points to the first pick, two to the second etc)

6. Obviously the prospect with the most votes becomes our temporary consensus pick.

7. We will revisit this in the same thread a week later once we know who most of the FA signings are.

8. You can re-vote but I will only accept your last vote.

9. Feel free to explain your reasons but please only do so in a paragraph after your votes. Please leave the votes as clean as possible so they're easier to find.

10. Please stick to the rules.

I would have taken matthew golden here at 38 but I think his excellent combine pushes him firmly into round 1.
Actually I would like to trade up from 38 to bottom of the 1st and take the best WR or OL available depending on how the draft shakes out at the top.

Getting two new contributing starters as rookies would be huge for us.

So many Rules lol I would've actually added 1 more lmao Take a popular top 25 board and restrict us from taking any of them.

Anyway I'll play even though I think it's somewhat convoluted when you are already presuming the 1st selection and it's prior to FA. But if you can get enough people to participate than it might be fruitful going forward.

1. Aireontae Ersery, Minnesota
2. Alfred Collins, Texas
3. Tre Harris, Ole Miss

Faller. Josh Simmons, Ohio State

Sorry Manx, I don’t follow the draft to have specific names I just follow you guys to get a general idea of who and what’s available so based on what I’ve read the DL is deep and talented so I would, in order, take the best DT, Edge, or NT available. I want a deep, physical, nasty DL that does not get run on 17 times in a row.

OK, I’m trying to be fair, so I used Tankathons most recent 3 round mock, and only went guys they had in the second round. I even dropped Nick Emmanwori because he won’t be there. So my list

iDrumroll please…..

1- Omarion Hampton RB UNC-He’s a beast, they should absolutely draft him if they can find a way to get him.

2-Derrick Harmon DT Oregon- This would also be a steal in the second round.

Darius Alexander DT Toledo Another beast, he’s got 34 inch arms, which is also the size of my biceps.

Omarion Hampton

Faller, Derrick Harmon. Teams know the draft is rich at DT where players can be found deep in the draft, but thin at most other positions. This kid is a first-round talent who might slip into the 30’s.

Tre Harris
Jayden Higgins
Princely Umnamielen

Faller: Nic Scourton. There's a lot of edge guys ranked R1. Scourton is #34. he wouldn't have to fall much.

Great to see Ersery love. I’m assuming no Ronny Stanley. Not big on FA tackles. My hope is to trade down slightly with LV, NYJ or NO. Doubling up at Tackle will be great for Drake Maye’s long term outlook.

1. Aireontae Ersery - T
2. Tyleik Williams - DT
3. Donovan Ezeiruaku Edge

Assuming players I have rated more highly already went in the first:

Darian Porter
Emeka Egbuka
Mason Taylor

Since my draft game has stalled what's the status of this one @manxman2601
