Golden ran himself out of our range, but Jayden Higgins was very impressive with the 40 and vertical as well at the drills at 6'4 214. I could see him being a target at 38.
Isaiah Bond his running mate ran pretty fast too.

Just not 4.20 fast as he claimed. But 4.39 ain’t too shabby. I prefer Matthew Golden, super fast (4.29), and not tiny like most speedsters, he’s 6’0” 195. Good return man too, and a clutch receiver.

Will he be there at 38?

Love Golden but I am sure we're going Trenches with out First pick. We can get a Bond in the Second.

4.2 my ass, dude is a loudmouth ass clown. He OBVIOUSLY is STUPID, and had no problem spouting his mouth.

I have no desire to have someone like him, dumb and ridiculous aren't anything I want on the team...we already have Wolfie and Groh, how far behind should we start?

Just to give context, here are the arm lengths of great Patriots left tackles of the past.

Bruce Armstrong 32.75.
Matt Light 33.5.
Nate Solder 35.5.

Solder had freakishly long arms!

Not sure how Campbell will do in the NFL but if that measurement is accurate he does match Bruce Armstrong in arm length so at least there's precedent for a shorter armed left tackle to succeed.

Campbell sounds like...."I'm gonna plow you so bad your mother is going to feel it in her bones, I'm going to crush you to the point that #SteelMan isn't going to be able to help you anymore for $3 per...I will disintegrate you!"

When did he say all those things? If so, I'm not sure i want him on the team anymore.

Sorry...I went a bit offline... looking left an right....

Book this:

Every WR that had been previously been pegged as a good 2nd or 3rd round option will be long gone by the time we're on the clock at 38.
What an idiot Elliot Wolf really is. How does he not see all the talent coming up in 2025 WR class and tells Mayo to weaponize at that position last year..Pathetic. Tell me like I'm a 10 year old why he has final say on players!

Yeah, a little bit of an embellishment on your part but thanks for your translation, love it! Mean uglies rule!

Oh I definitely wouldn’t go so far as to say his “floor” is to be a dominating player at a position he hasn’t played before. That’s not what I meant.

The term “floor” in general is overused. None of these guys really have a floor. All of them could totally suck. Him as a guard is a separate evaluation you have to make. It’s absolutely an easier position to play in general, but it’s still a different skill set. There’s a reason every failed OT prospect can’t just switch insider to guard and be salvaged.

The NFL Stock Exchange podcast is excellent. They do deep dives and breakdowns on pretty much every player they discuss. They have speculated that he could end up being an All Pro center because of his football IQ. as well as his physical abilities, because he was calling all the plays and adjustments from the Left Tackle position, which is pretty much unheard of. And although you are technically right that any player can bust, the likelihood of Campbell busting is almost zero. Unless he’s drafted by the Jets he should be really good pro for years to come.

I'm not upset like many would be here.
Heads will Explode, as you know.

Not me. There are many ways they can go in both the Draft and free agency, and most of them are good. If they were to go Tackle, Tackle with their first 2 picks I would be fine with it.

Not Turd Ferguson lol, Terrence Ferguson.

I would say he would’ve been the 4th QB if he came out last year.

With the lack of top FA's and all our holes, we need to manufacture another 2nd round pick. The only way to do that is trade back from 4 to say 9 (Saints). I don't see the Raiders at 6 or Jets at 7 as trading partners, and Carolina at 8 doesn't own a 2nd round pick. If by chance Hunter falls to us at 4, he will be tough to pass on, but NO should be all over it and we might get more than just their 2nd.

With the #40 pick, we now can do this:
- with pick 9, take OT Campbell (or Banks if Campbell's gone)
- move up from 38 to the mid 20's (23-26) by giving up pick 77 - take WR Golden
- with the high 2nd round pick 40, take the best front-7 player available
- with the high 3rd round pick 69, take BPA, probably also front-7 but maybe TE
