I would love to see a small trade back and take Will Campbell and then trade back into the 20s for Josh Simmons. At least at this present moment that is what I want, but it will change with FA I am sure.

Just the thought of starting the Vrabel era of our 6 year rebuild with 2 1st round OTs (LT and RT or LT and LG) .

Now that's an interesting plan

He is great against a bull rush, but not as much vs speed and lateral quickness

I don’t think this is accurate. He went against Jared. Verse as an 18 year old freshman and held his own, and only gave up 4 sacks in 3 seasons against the best competition in college football. Campbell is an excellent Left Tackle prospect.

If we have Hunter / Carter and Campbell available at 4 what do you do ?

Damn if only we got the first pick, could have traded to giants , got an extra 2nd round 2025 and an extra 1st next year and got Hunter and possibly Campbell by trading up our 2nd, 3rd and 1st from next year .

I'd take Campbell. Trenches first.

What I meant to say is that he is great against a bull rush but not as good against speed. Still good but not like against the bull rush. Hopefully that is more clear. I feel like if people are going to beat him it is going to be with speed/quicks.

Golden ran himself out of our range, but Jayden Higgins was very impressive with the 40 and vertical as well at the drills at 6'4 214. I could see him being a target at 38.

I'm not upset like many would be here.
Heads will Explode, as you know.

I think plenty of us have big dreams for Hunter or Carter but I can't imagine very many heads exploding over the best LT.

Yup, Just rewatch the last Superbowl. No brainer.

I have ZERO wishes for Hunter.
Period.
I want big tough FATTIES, that have fkn BALLS.
You can't win, if you continually lose the LOS, which we have been doing.
BEAT THE CRAP out of their LOS, watch what happens.

Carter's foot injury worries me(I figured him and Graham), losing Hunter is something I hope for.

Unless they get a starter at QB in FA, they need a QB. It’s really not laughable. Sanders isn’t on a par with the top 3 QBs of last year’s draft, but he is a good QB who was talked about as the top pick of the 2025 draft a few months ago.

And statistically, he’s nothing to laugh about. He’s very accurate (74%) last year, and over 4100 yards with 37 TD passes and 10 INTs. Let’s not forget, he played behind a pretty bad Oline the last 2 years, so I admire his toughness as well.

Its not like they would be taking Joe Kapp (for you old timers) over Jerry Rice. Shedeur Sanders is a good QB. Unless they are desperate for CB help with Hunter, QB is an obvious need over everything else for them.

Is he on par with any of the 6 first rounders from 2024?

Hunter's the best player in the draft and I don't think it's close. He should go 1. But QBs can shake things up and even then he probably still goes top 3. I'm even willing to trade up for him.

I'm pretty sure we ALL want the best STUD we can get at #4. Campbell has warts, Banks as well..Simmons is a Mystery.
Graham is safe, and will probably make a difference, We Need TOUGH Fatties, and we can't get it wrong.
I dunno, I'm JAG looking at our options.

Book this:

Every WR that had been previously been pegged as a good 2nd or 3rd round option will be long gone by the time we're on the clock at 38.

Half of them can't catch
