Lets try to be positive.

Would I like to get him? Yes

The issue is twofold

1. Why would the eagles trade him
2. It would cost the 4 spot and a 2nd next year at the very least...

I can't see the eagles wanting to move him...
Even if they agree, and swap first round picks, do we really want to pick 32nd given the current state of the roster ? That's a tough sell...

If everything breaks right in free agency - you get Jackson from the Rams and add a starting RT as well, you have now given up the financial benefits of having rookie contracts across the front of the offense... Dollars that could be used to add pieces to the defense ... It can be considered but it would be a bold move, no two ways about it

I dunno man, doesn't seem feasible given the fiscal restraint that the Pats operate with...

But in all seriousness I was a little concerned about his comments after winning the SB. When you couple that with the book on the sidelines and the visible "checking out" in games he wasnt getting targeted I'm not so sure about him.

The book he was reading on the sideline is called Inner Excellence. Brown has passages in the book highlighted, and he uses them to remind himself about staying present in the moment and focused on what he has to do. He keeps it with him all the time.

I'm saying 3rd rounder and possibly a 2026 pick gets him... what was the trade compensation for him when he was traded from Titans? Unlike DK AJ would want to be here and he's close with Vrabel..

I've analyzed this. We must remember AJ was traded already so who's to say he wouldn't he traded again. I'm guessing it would all depend on compensation. Laurie is a man that doesn't mind spending. I believe he would be able to work out something with us for AJ salary. I just have an open mind.. this is the NFL nothing is what we expect these days. I highly agree with your free agency moves.. we should at least be aggressive who knows Roseman may just like the 3rd rounder, and go an get another WR.. I believe we need AJ more than Philly does.

Draft the next AJ in the 2nd round.
Agreed. Philly prints WRs like a factory. Roseman would take the 3rd rounder and go get another WR. AJ Brown would be excellent here... then you go after some veterans like Christian kirk to add depth. Having a game changer especially under McDaniels allows this offense to operate At a high level.. I look for Drake to be efficient next season.. converting 3rd down, wearing out defenses. The way we will stay on the field is getting chunk plays.

Nope, we need both of them, unless we're flipping it for an additional first next year or something.
Too many holes to fill. We have 4 top-100 picks, they all need to hit.
Your right we have alot of holes to fill.. but the most important position we have and that's QB. To maximize drakes potential we need a target for him and protect him. guess the way I'm looking at it is with an open mind.. however I understand what your saying also. It's pretty obvious we need to knock this draft out the park.

Also bear in mind, the window is four seasons to get a roster together (3 really), that's Maye's rookie contract.

That's why Higgins was so intriguing, because he's only 26 and it would have just cost money. AJ Brown would cost draft capital (and a good bit of it), and will be 28 before camp next year. That's not old, but 31 is certainly bordering on that when Maye enters year 4.
