2025 Draft: EDGE

With the draft being so heavy in Edge players (as above) is it such a problem if we miss out on Carter, seems not a problem to me.

Just means Players we covet particularly for the Pats. Some have futher defined it as late round prospects.

This is an informative graph. Basically you want to be in the top right quadrant and look at the company the likes of Green, Carter, Umanmielen and Pearce are keeping.

I am all about Jihaad Campbell or Donovan Ezeraiku at 38. I my fantasy world we get the needed bridge at LT in FA and I am as high on some of the 3rd-4th round developmental types as I am on the projected 2nd rounders. Ezeraiku has tons of pass rush moves and 34.5 inch arms at 6-2 250 or so.

Absolutely agree with you on LT. Anthony Belton has become my go to in that role although Charles Grant is a possibility too*. But I am very tempted by Hollin Pierce despite some reservations. Could he be our Trent Brown? And then there's Logan Brown who just, so perfectly, looks the part of a LT.

* My only concern with Grant is that he's 100% a zone scheme LT and perhaps lacks the power for a gap scheme.

As for Campbell and Ezeiruaku. Both excellent prospects. My only issues are that there are too many putting him in the first round now for me to include him in my mocks even if available too me. And Eze is excellent and I need to rewatch him, but how much better is he than Josaiah Stewart who seems to be there for the late second/third round? I'll need to look at them back to back to see. Eze's freaky arms are pretty cool though.

I have not watched much of Stewart because for me the shorter quick guys are reserved for Antwaun Powell Ryland. Donovan Ez is pretty good against the run but its his gogo gadget arms that do it for me along with his array of pass rush moves. He is pretty adept at getting a strip sack.
