IDK, he is going to be 30 next year. I would be a little concerned that he would be on the decline by the time the Patriots were a contender again even if they get there on the fastest timeline.

I wouldn't be against a trade, but I would be concerned about giving up too much for him.
Nah he barely Injured played most games very good player.

He will go to the team that offers Cleveland the best deal for him.

Well, on the other hand he is an accelerant to getting back in the playoffs.

QB- Check
CB1- Check
Pass rusher- Check
LT- Need
DT- Need
LBs- Need
WRs- Need

If they can nail down the "needs" over the next two years and Garrett can give them 4 years or reasonable top-level prod for a 2nd rounder it would be worth it.
Pass Rusher check??

There is a decent chance he can be like Von Miller and play at a high or even elite level until his mid or late 30s, but there is no guarantee for any player over 30. It is always a crap shoot that a player could hit the age wall hard and fast.

Agree But his Sack numbers are next to ridiculously great.

Correction Myles Garrett is an Elite Player worth the #4 overall: He's very Consistent.

If the Pats trade the fourth overall for Garrett, I would call for them to fire everyone including Vrabel and demand the Krafts sell the team. You are trying to get an elite player who can be elite for your team for the next decade or longer with the fourth overall pick. Not a player, even elite, who is going to be 30 this December.

I don't know who off hand, but I am sure there are guys who consistently were sack leaders in the NFL every year in their 20s and fell off exponentially once they hit 30.

They would want three firsts like they gave up for Watson. Would probably settle for 2 and the right player. That's if the could fit the trade into the salary cap, which looks impossible.

He would be our Chris Jones a Game Changer.

The Browns are currently $30 plus million over the cap. They would take an additional $16 million cap hit if they cut or trade Garrett before June 1st. That means any trade will likely happen after that. That would mean the Pats would have to go through free agency and the draft not addressing edge rusher and hope they can get a deal done in the summer with the Browns.
