SB 59 Chiefs vs Eagles

McDermutt is the white Tomlin.

He will waste Allen's career if Buffalo does not fire him. The Bills ran the QB sneek to the left side and KC was ready and waiting at the goaline.
He does make questionable calls in big games. Reid just sits back and waits for Mcdumbutt to make foolish decisions.

To me, there was only one really bad call in the game yesterday. That being the play they ruled a catch by KC on the Bills 1 yd line. Both players were fighting for the ball and when they went to the ground, the ball clearly hit the turf. The correct ruling should have been incomplete. Buffalo challenged it, and the definitely got screwed on that one.

But that was early in the game, and Buffalo overcame it. I know a lot of people are pointing to the 4th and 1 play, but IMHO I still haven't seen a definitive replay where Allen crossed the line to gain. Hard to overturn that when the on field call was he was short.
Looks like he reached the line.

McDermutt should have challenged the spot.

Im done placing faith in the Bills if McDermot is the HC.

I’m going with the Eagles, at first I thought KC but once McDumbutt remembered in the second half that he had a good running game and started handing the ball to Jones the Chiefs defense struggled. I think the Bills would’ve won if they kept Jones in the game instead of having him on the sideline have the time.

If the Chiefs sell out to stop the run then they will struggle covering Brown, Smith and the TE.

I have seen a definitive replay where clearly Allen was past the line to gain. But championship teams find ways to overcome bad calls. Bills had their chance in last minute and could not rise to the occasion. They did not deserve the win in spite of 2 bad calls

I'm not one to think the Eagles are toast. Their defense is really good. I am going to hold my nose and root for them. Watching Saquon have a nice game will be fun. That would be a storybook ending to a phenomenal season for that player.

I feel like the Bills are this era's version of our era's Steelers. They cannot get past the Chiefs. The only way they're ever winning is if the Chiefs get knocked out by someone else.
Yeah but the Steelers won 2 SB's - and went to a 3rd - in the middle of our dynasty. Buffalo just can't get over the hump at all so they are more like the Chargers, Jaguars or Texans.

There's nothing that suggests it won't be a close one score game and that will come down to the final few minutes and that either team could win but Mahomes is more likely to pull it out than Hurts.

The Chiefs pretty much play close games with everybody, Hurts has to avoid that brutal turnover he had in the last Super Bowl that turned the game.

Look at it this way. You can be happy if either team loses
Its a win win
I wish I were evolved enough to look at it that way, but I am just an old grouch, alas. I don't suppose there's any way they both could lose short of some sort of Armageddon, is there?

As long as Sirianni doesn't psyche himself out, they should win.

The lack of adjustments to Allen's inability to do a QB sneak is bad preparation (they had no other play), but gambling on a 2 point conversion when it is absolutely unnecessary, that's coaching malpractice.

People are going to hate me for saying this but among my takeaways from last night is that METRICS was one of the biggest reasons they lost.

Instead of taking the free points and keeping the team on schedule, he read some analysis of the chances of gaining 1 yard and he went with it. He completely ignored the fact that they didn't need to do this, that this is the AFCCG and that the metric doesn't take into account that you're playing the top opponent in your conference in a crucial game, nor that the DC of your opponent is Steve Spagnuolo.

METRICS, SCHMETRICS.

McDermott is Buffalo's answer to Marty Shottenheimer
maybe they could hire Gruden... he can come in, steal a win in the SB with the bills... do another Tampa... or Gark Kubiak... he got it done with John Fox's team...

Philly is getting points. Take the points to the bank.
These Chiefs people have 2 weeks to come to terms with the end of their mini dynasty.

Chiefs are gonna win. Their defense will shut down Saquon, and Hurts isn’t gonna beat the Chiefs on his own. I think it will be Chiefs 24 Eagles 17. The Chiefs, as always, will do just enough to win.
