There you go, some chick high and probably drunk got pissed at him and thought she could turn it around. I'd like to see what got him off.

I want to know what the jury talked about for 13 minutes. That probably means they reached a verdict almost immediately. "She wasn't credible, right everyone? Show of hands? Not guilty." Haha.

For what? Being acquitted doesn't mean he didn't do it.

It means the burden of proof hasn't been met.

As far as the law is concerned, he's not guilty. I doubt this is like OJ, where there was a mountain of evidence against him, but the jury consciously made a political statement instead of pursuing justice. Apparently this was a very flimsy case that should never have been brought to trial.

Not saying this case specifically, but just because he’s not found guilty isn’t proof she lied and can be tried for it.

Law isn’t black and white like that. He’s found not guilty. We’d need proof she lied not lack of proof he’s guilty.

I'm going out memory but I think she claimed the DV occurred in a hallway and then he said he had video recordings from the hallway. Jury took 13 minutes. I suppose we can wait for more facts to get reported but I feel decent enough about this incident that Peppers can still play here.

If that's the case, the prosecution should never have brought the case to trial. They obviously had jack ****.

Peppers was far better prepared to defend than she was to accuse.

Making false accusations is and always has been a crime. As is Perjury. However, it's rarely ever pursued, which is why there's so much of it occurring.

There's nothing to argue. If what you're saying is true then what you really are advocating for is for the prosecutors to be prosecuted.

I mean listen to what you're saying. You're literally saying I don't care about what you or anyone or anything says. It's my way and that's that.

Why are you shrinking at the first sign of adversity?

If she lied and you can prove that she lied you don't even prosecute the case, you prosecute her.

I don’t like to pass judgment on these matters and I’m skeptical of acquittals because it’s so difficult to prove he said/she said. But just 13 minutes of deliberating before acquitting him gives comfort in continuing to root for him as a member of my favorite team.
