admits the "unidentified white powder" which turned out to be cocaine was indeed his... he needed to add Patrick Chung to his defense council it seems...

During the arrest, Braintree police in Massachusetts found a substance in Peppers’ wallet that they believed to be cocaine. Peppers admitted that the substance was cocaine when appearing at the Quincy District Court.

bye bye mr peppers... i don't see a way this ends well for him... or for us...

Nah. If he's found not guilty of the domestic charges, he'll still be here.

As I said before, Belichick brought up LT as an example of a perfect football player so often, that this was bound to be the message taken away by some…..

Thought it was a mistake to bring him back this season. Don't know of the coke thing is a major issue in itself though. I dunno, it is for me but probably not for the masses I would suspect.

In fairness, he said this to the cops that night - so backtracking on it in court would be destroyed immediately.

You don't get to say that, and then say you got railroaded for the DV allegations.

If he’s found guilty of the DV, I wonder if they get any cap relief? Surely they put language on contracts post-Hernandez around conduct?

Just don’t know if that means they don’t pay, or also get cap relief. Man, both safety re-signs look bad for different reasons

So for the coke he'll get probation/fine. They can keep him on that.

If hes found guilty for the domestic assault then hes cut and should be.

$4m cap hit next year if they cut him after June 1

Aren’t there clauses in contracts about illegal drug use?

I did a quick AI search that I'm too lazy to verify, but apparently there are limited medicinal uses for cocaine, including:
  • Topical Application: It can be applied topically for procedures like repairing nasal septum damage or for some dental procedures, although its use has significantly decreased due to safer alternatives like lidocaine.
Hopefully he has a family member (DR Peppers) that can back date a prescription for his recent broken nose.

The Boston Globe Reports, if I read this correctly it is not a huge legal deal..

"Peppers, 29, admitted that police found cocaine on him after his arrest on the assault charges. The charge was continued without a finding, meaning that if Peppers completes a probationary period without reoffending, the drug charge will be dropped."
