I'm not saying you're wrong but although he didn't draft him, Vrabel had Harold Landry throughout his tenure at the Titans. Landry is 6-3, 252. Almost the same as Carter.
Landry was a good run supporter and could set the edge
He lined up all along the line
Carter just likes to blast into the backfield
He is excellent at rushing into the backfield
Just don’t think he has the body to do what Landry could do
Getting to the passer is important in modern football so Vrabel could go there
My guess is he values the trenches more

It's a bit of bad look for Johnson to seem pretty flat on the sideline of a disastrous game (including a useless WR pass play) and then get a HC job 2 days later. It sorta shows what he thinks of Goff - running to Williams as a better shot!?!

Article says Falcons blocked interviews for lateral moves, not coordinator positions.
Wonder if Pats want him as olb coach as opposed to DC there was a rumor we wanted the D line coach in Detroit who was also with Vrabs but my guess he can be Detroit’s DC since Glenn is all but likely to take the Jets job.

Championshiiiiiip...
Agree. So far the Vrabel era is off to an uninspiring start. The guys he has interviewed so far are not going to generate a lot of pre season hype. About as exciting as Mayo’s hires
Ryan Crow, Marcus Brady, Thomas Brown

Yawn

The HC was fired. The point is permission is still required for ALL requests.

I heard today (Nick Cattles?) that AVP coached Maye and Brissett, but that Bob McAdoo coached Milton.
Really interesting.

I wonder if we retain any of them or all 3 in some capacity?
I mean both QBs looked really good, if we can bring in a better play caller, play designer that is all that’s really needed.

It's still early, but we really don't have a choice. It's not like coaches are lining up to for the Pats.

And I'd rather have this than another year with Mayo.

it is just a courtesy.
Yes it’s just the professional way things are done. The other team would not deny the request. They technically can but have little reason to do so and would likely face a complaint from the coach’s agent and wherever else, plus make themselves undesirable for future coaching talent. And the league would most likely eventually force them to grant permission anyway.

Vrabels staff really coming together.

Hired Frankie from Worcester in charge of polishing the helmets.

This right here gives me hope for the next dynasty! Championship(s)!!!

Props to Frankie! I’m jealous!
