I trust that most of us have their own idea's of what would make for a successful 2025 Off-Season. Therefore, if it is not within the realm of the impossible (even if improbable), what would be your best-case scenario (be as specific as you want) for the Patriots this Off-Season? For example:

What would you want regarding Vrabel's Coaching Staff Personnel (Coordinator's, Position Coaches)?
What would you want regarding Vrabel's Personnel/Scouting Department Personnel?
What do you want regarding Vrabel's Nutrition/Diet/Strength and Conditioning Specialist's?

Free Agency Period:
What UFA's do you want? RFA's (if any)? Players that aren't FA's, but you would be willing to trade for (and what would you give for compensation?).
Are there player's on our team that you would trade, and why and for what (for a another player(s) or another reason(s)?).

Draft:
Taking into account what has been stated in the Free Agency Period section, with whatever picks that we still have and where they might be, who would you take (either staying put or trading up and/or down?). This could be a specific position and/or specific player.

I've been giving such concerns a great deal of thought. I'm very curious as to what the rest of you have been contemplating and what you would want to do.

Looks like Tee Higgens will be the big prize.

Pats also need to target T’s.

FS would be nice so the overpaid Dugger can go back to being the #3rd S and patrol his short area of the field.

Edge was a massive need and now DL is as well.

"I want everything, and I want it now", Sorry had to say this, that is a direct quote from my two-year old son (25 years ago) that I always think of when people ask me what I want. .

Bring players that want to play tough football. I love tough teams that run the ball (almost to a fault) and defensive line that owns the line of scrimmage. WR's that block and a TE that blocks as well as O-linemen.

Fancy trick plays can help at times, but smashmouth football is needed in January.

I hate how Tee Higgins misses games.

As a full-time starter, out of 88 possible games, hes played in 70, started 62, and played ~75% of the snaps.

Sorry but that's not $35m a year.

Fix the trenches.

Get Maye a viable WR1.

Find a starting FS and a CB2 upgrade.

This is a deep rb draft. Get one to eventually take over for Rham.

I'm curious, and perhaps you know the answer. Did most of the games that Higgins has missed time with injury been mostly the last two seasons? Because if that's true, I wonder if the season before he was tagged he was upset that he wasn't given a new contract and then got even more ticked-off when he was tagged (as he was upset because he was held back a year from signing with another team for big money and made worse because he probably was not going to be given another contract from the Bengals on top of that).

If that's the reason, then on the one hand, he's been slacking over money and that looks bad, especially for us investing that kind of money. On the other hand, if we sign him and all of a sudden he is and stays healthy and plays like a #1 WR, then that's ultimately what we want. It's a dilemma. What WR would you go after who's still young, even if we had to trade a high pick or picks in this draft and possibly the next (not the #4 overall though)?

Theres many ways to do it. The main thing is they have to try this time. At least 5 big money acquisitions.

I would personally not get cute with pick 4 , hopefully the 2 qbs get taken first so we have a nice selection. If we can land any of hunter, carter, graham, or tet (depending on what gets filled in fa) go for it. If youre getting a total bag ok, otherwise stay put and get a blue chipper.

At 38 you should be able to land another starter , just be open to different positions and don’t overthink it, if an obvious hit is there take it. Read mock drafts if you have to FFS.

If they **** things up again on any of these basic points, completely overhaul the FO whoever was here from last year.

Having Vrabel as the tone setter is huge for me. At OC Josh McDaniels. Why? He's been a HC, isn't in a rush to go for another opportunity. He would be the one voice for Drake to continue to ascend him to the next level. At DC mike wilks. Why? He too as been a HC.. he brings in experience and knowledge and would help Vrabel's message resonate to the defense.

FAs. DK metcalf, Chris Olave, DJ Reed, tee Higgins any one or two would do. Sign chase young at DE, chavaious ward at CB, depth at DT and LB. Draft Carter at #4.. 2nd round we can go after tackles.

The only player that I would not draft high is Travis Hunter. I just get a bad feeling about him. There are other players that will be at #4 or in that area that I believe are safer and will prove to be better players. But, that's just my humble opinion.

I mean, you know who's too expensive?

Mike Onwenu making 19 million/yr for the next 2 years.
Jelani Tavai making 16 million (total) over the next 3 years.
Rhamondre Stevenson making 9 million a year over the next 4 years.

And we're still 130 million under the cap.

How about spending some of that money that needs to be spent on someone good? Instead of Kyle Dugger at $14.5 million a year over the next 3?

I get being conditioned to not overspend over the last few decades, but holy ****, you're already way overspending on trash, and you're still wayyy under the cap floor. So you overpay for Tee Higgins. Oh well. When he does play, he's significantly better than anyone else in the WR room. And if you sign him for 4 years, you maximize him for the duration of Maye's rookie deal.

I don't think hes dogging it. I think he is injury prone.

See below. Seems 1/2 his injuries are soft tissue but the others like cracked ribs, concussion, etc just happen.

I'll all for paying him $35m a year if he plays 16 or 17 games, catches 100 balls, 1400yds and 10TDs.

You want to pay him $35m and he misses 1/4 of the snaps be my guest.

I want to go back in time. Specifically March 2019 and told Belichick we either sign Tom to a long term deal or he hand in his resignation. Then we draft Deebo in the 1st or DK/AJ in the 2nd. Resign Joe Thuney for 5 years the following season. Resign Jakobi Meyers for 3 years the following season. We likely win 2 more Super Bowls at minimum.

What do I want? I want the Patriots to actually participate in Free Agency... AND I want them to seriously pursue trades... there are guys under contract out there that can be moved...

Browns LT, Jedrick Wills Jr... he's got some issues, no doubt... But is in the Void Year of his current deal...
Browns RT, Jack Conklin... cap casualty? hes over 30, but could really solidify the right side...
Niners WR Deeboo Samuel... he might not be available this year... contract wise, 2026 is the out...
Eagles WR AJ Brown... heavy contract... and like DeeBoo, his "out" really doesn't arrive until 2027...
Jets WR Garrett Wilson ... probably won't happen... eh, make the call anyway
Bengals Edge Trey Hendrickson... wants a new deal, is 30... bengals got some decisions to make
Jaguars WR Christian Kirk... at least kick the tires... see how rehab is going... cheap money on this one
Falcons TE Kyle Pitts ... production has leveled off... would be a steal considering his age and potential upside...

Too bad they didn't have the cap space.

Im somewhat on the fence with him but honestly if hes there the talent and potential is too tempting for me. If we miss out then i probably will be disappointed but carter/graham/tet could wind up better for us.
