I honestly thought as draft day was approaching that Daniels had all the tools to be a great QB in NFL and he might make faster progress due to all his college experience……but his physical “stature” or physique scared me a bit because he is so lean. I kept thinking that if this guy takes a couple big hits he’s going to be on IR quickly! Kept thinking of Thornton when I looked at him who went on IR if he sneezed too hard. But man, Daniels is the real deal and he has a great team around him ….Great OL, McLaurin, Ertz, Robinson….good D….and clicks with the coaches….match made in heaven! Very impressive and exciting player

Just watched the Chiehs Texans replay after work. Two critical roughing the passer calls against texans that even the announcers said were bogus allowing the chiefs to continue their drives.

That’s why I didn’t watch that game. Get use to it, they will get the calls next week and in the Super Bowl. The NFL wants Jason swifts girl friend on the camera.

Everything thing you posted was spot on!!! . I'll also add that Detroits offense overshadowed just how bad thier defense really is.. seriously if you look at it thier defense is the reason they lost and the DC is up for HC jobs.. Kingsbury and Quinn both HC at other stops have definitely used thier experiences to help them get where they are this season. Kingsbury definitely deserves another shot at HC somewhere. How about Daniels? The kid has Done nothing bit win! He's also an awesome person off the field as well! This gives me hope and optimism that we can rebuild and have a resurgence similar.. not saying we get the AFCCG but we could definitely be a playoff team under Vrabel. The HC matters so much to a franchise I'll never appreciate that more than going through last season.

I think Aaron Glenn is getting interviews because the Lions had 18 defensive players on IR, only way they were making the Super Bowl was to score 45 points a game.

I’m surprised Kingsbury isn’t getting more attention. I think he would fit in Chicago with the QB.

First time I saw a full Daniels game. Wow, that was impressive. Didn't seem like Detroit D put up much of a fight, nonetheless Daniels did everything right. Like others have said, we'll see. Last year Stroud was headed for the Hall of Fame.

Daniels is interesting. I said pre-draft he'd have the best rookie season of any rookie QB but he's better than I expected. I still worry about where he'll be in a few years. If Kingsbury leaves it'll hurt and his running style with that small frame is a big concern, I expect his first 2 years might be his best 2 years, but we'll see. RG3 and Daniels have stats as rookies that are very close to the same.

His running ability open up so much for him and if a few injuries limit that I wonder. A bit of an enigma, his 5 TD game he actually didn't play well on 6 of the 8 drives, made 2 great throws, was not a great game by him yet he had 5 TD's.
He does seem to have a knack of 1 or 2 great throws a game down the field.
Magical season for him, actually love watching him play, hopefully he stays healthy, Kingsbury stays, and he can continue to have success. He's in the NFC so can root for him. Like his personality and he's just more fun to watch than most QB's.

Agreed.. Daniels is older and more seasoned then the other rookie QBs.. the kid is a winner though. I really am optimistic that we can have a resurgence similar to Washington next season..

Agreed there.. I know lions were down some huge pieces on defense... thier defense has been worse than ours.. if that's possible. Kingsbury absolutely should be getting more interesting as a HC.

Absolutely, reminds me of when Roethlisberger got drafted to Steelers. They had #1 defense and solid OL and Bettis at RB and Plaxico and Ward at WR. Doesnt get much better. Maye wishes he had some of that....

Agreed. What Drake does have is the best contracto for the job to build back the NEP in Mike vrabel.. sure up the LOS and add players on offense and defense with good coaching. I'd like us to compete.
