Abdul Carter plus Jack Sawyer later would be an incredible upgrade to the defense.

WR also can be addressed in draft or FA.

Issue that glares is neither FA or Draft has a surefire LT available.

My have to fortify the rest of the line, and just know you have to help a Vedarian Lowe type player with chips by TE/RB next year
Let's hope the Ravens let Ronnie Stanley walk: Cam Robinson is plan B.

So Stanley has a lot of injuries, and Robinson was awful last game and shockingly doesn’t grade out better than Lowe which is wild.

Lowe’s big issue is mental errors, and that inexplicably, AVP rarely gave him any help.

I’m wondering if they can’t find a clear upgrade at LT, of they just keep him there another year

You gotta be kidding me: Vederian Lowe is the Jerod Mayo of Left Tackles. I am sure you get my drift.

Complain about Lowe all you want....but he is a vast upgrade over the alternatives.... (right now)

He is an UPGRADE over everyone on the roster....short of maybe Onwenu playing out of position....
And he also got one touchdown This season . How many linemen do that ???

Lowe it up !!!

That's kind of my expectation. But give him a coach who will cut down on the mental errors.

We need to treat the off season as if Polk and baker don’t exist and fill the spot out without them. If they suddenly get and earn something fine, but the plan needs to be to expect they are zeros.
That's what I'm saying: one barely made a 100yds healthy all season long: the other recorded 1 catch against scrubs.
He didn’t gain 100
I know 87yds to be exact from week 7 it seems: I just didn't want to embarrass him.
So, what he has is pure upside. He’s on the way to Canton!

You mean good player, can’t coach?

You know…what’s interesting os I’ve been thinking back to Mayo’s career woth a critical eye vs. “what the media said” and honestly, I’m wondering of Mayo was overrated as a player.

Was he really special?

The Mayo I remembered: made a lot of Tackles after 5 and 7 yard gains. That's why I think LB's Tackle stats are overrated: especially when they are not for losses.

There's nothing good about Vederian Lowe...I lied: he's good for a drive killing holding call or Offsides.

So happy Mike Vrabel is Coaching this Team and not some of us. I bet you Lowe won't be a Starter on this Team in the upcoming season. IF he is the powers to be have lost it.

Yeah I honestly recall more impactful plays coming from Collins, Hightower, and even Brandon Spikes.

Mayo was just sort of…there.

Seems revisionist to say he was this game-changing linebacker and heart/soul of the defense.

In fact, the only superbowl he played in was a losing effort to the Giants. He had 11 tackles, but I’d be curious to go back and watch (if I could stomach that) and see how far downfield those tackles were.

If it isn’t obvious, the last few years have made me actively dislike Mayo, but there’s always the “he WAS a great player though” caveat. I’m just wondering if that too deserves scrutiny.

Don't please call it a hunch.

They will find a definite upgrade (a very low bar).

Perhaps, we won't be able to find a reasonable backup and will keep him.
