C'mon, it was because the Pats crapped on Rooney Rule and only interviewed two legitimate candidates and then hired Vrabel the next day. To think Vrabel isn't throwing platitudes at McDaniels because of optics is a stretch. I am sure Vrabel is going to interview plenty of guys he doesn't even intend to hire because he wants to get intel on their teams.

There is a prevailing belief the reason that Vrabel even interviewed with the Jets was to get intel on them because they interviewed him at their facilities while the team was practicing.

Every team “ craps” on the Rooney rule, because every team already has a very good idea of who they want to hire before the interviews even start. Except for the Jets, who just make it up as they go along. The Rooney Rule is a pleasant thought to make the Commisioner feel good about himself, but nothing more.

Josh OC.
Matt DC.

Announced the same day.

Ian would have to outsource servers in India.
ya know

i wouldnt mind the usual patricia bend but dont break defense of being 32nd in yards but top 5 in points

better than the current bend-and-then-break defense we saw this last year

Patricia should get into analytics or probably the role that steicher is doing in Rams.

I think he has far too tribal knowledge that could be put to good use by a good HC.

Bill the coach is still rocking it. Bill the GM killed Bill the coach in NE. I think we might have some better draft this season had bill not been fired and possibly a 8 win team. Only issue is would bill have chosen Maye.

Then what happens when MacDaniels leaves? There are only 3 team that run E-P anymore, which gives you 3 OC’s you can possibly hire to replace him. Or change offenses again, which is a terrible idea. All of the great QB’s learned one offense and mastered it. Brady 1 system,Marino 1 system Mahomes1system, Montana1system, Elway 1-system, the list is long, none of them were jerked from system to system. The language is different, the reads are different, the blocking assignments are different. It’s a big deal.
Tampa ran the EP too?!?

I thought Patricia was perfect to be the next Ernie Adams. I would love to see them hire him as the research assistant. I thought that was a brilliant idea by Belichick, and I was surprised other teams didn’t copy it.

I seriously do not believe Patricia has any relationship whatsoever with the Krafts anymore.

Not after 2022.

My back hurts all the time, I never remember where I put my keys, I get up to pee several times a night, and I now have a yearly visit to the cardiologist.
I’m always looking for my keys and iPhone. My wife saw a show and the doctor said it’s not an issue that you can’t find your keys, it’s an issue when you don’t know what the keys are for.

AVP with his lateral passing game pass game Coordinator.
Isn't the short/lateral passing game the foundation of a WC offense?

Get an Apple watch and you can easily make it beep your phone. And if you put an AirTag on your keys, can find them too.
Apple watch can also tell you if you have sleep apnea too (like most of the NFL OL players).

Don't need an Apple Watch to tell me that...Mrs RW did.

Right now I’m leaning towards Nick Caley. I’ll take some **** for it, but that’s ok, it’s well deserved.
I blame him for MP as OC, so he is dead to me, LOL. The reality is that he's spurned the team twice already. If he is worth the investment, are Maye and Vrabel enough for him agree to join the team this time?

OC there are only 3 realistic candidates for now
1. Rams QB coordinator
2. Josh Mcown
3. Josh McDaniels .

McDaniels seems like a slam dunk hire.

Is there a way we can poach Charlie Weiss Jr from Ole Miss to become future OC.
Sick of seeing McClown mentioned as OC, he hasn't done JACK ****.

You have it the other way around. Bill didn't want Caley in 2023 so he left.

So it's McCown then??
Could be Caley as well, I imagine that Ragone is on his radar as well as his Ernie Adams (John Streicher)

Wonder if Vrabel attempts to get Mike Munchak to come and coach the O-line, not sure what everyone thought of Scott peters this season but thought Munchak would be an upgrade, anyone have any other suggestions with regards to O-line coaches?

Peters wasn't ready to be more than just an ass-istant position coach; but because once again Mayo didn't know anyone else more qualified, he had to go dumpster-diving like he did for the WR "coaches"... Anyone this side of Billy Yates would be an improvement.
