Robert Kraft's Press Conference

He does seem as meek and a little nerdy but I don't see him as a slime.

Then you have Alonzo Highsmith who was a specimen at the U in the 80s. A RB/FB in the NFL for several years and later dabbled in boxing and MMA. A total badass.
The 2 of them together make me think of a buddy cop show.

No idea why you guys think that. He comes off as very honest and grounded to me. A little meek, tbh.
Breer mentioned last night there was growing decencion between the coaching staff and the front office/scouting regarding the development of players.

Wolf even said himself that he felt the players weren't developing specifically the WRs..

Add in yesterday Kraft saying the on the coaching search Highsmith... and Wolf would be handling that. Not Wolf singularly.

Just summizing that feels like some task have been taken from Wolf.

I have no idea what the F is going on down there.

Last I knew Wolf was still running things.
Highsmith I'm my opinion only feels like he's the guy.. and Wolf and Groh handle the scouting and or player singings. Then Bill said yesterday specifically the last few seasons the coaching staff and front office haven't necessarily shared the same vision.

Then why is her title “Senior Advisor to the Head Coach”? Sure don’t sound like just a lawyer to me.

We already had this argument. It has been reported by multiple sources that Glaser was involved in football decisions/operations and part of the team conducting interviews.

For some reason know but to God, some people on this forum want to bury their heads in the sand regarding this matter and will defend Glaser to their dying breath, all the while denying what is obvious to the rest of us.
Who knows?? She was defending the organization during deflatgate. She is still their top attorney. But again who knows. So much is unknown in this organization lately. She was last slated as senior advisor to the HC when mayo was hired.

I missed Bill saying that. You have the quote?

She gets involved in contracts, negotiations w/ agents, etc. I'm sure she sits in on interviews and other franchise/organizational-type decisions.

She is not involved in evaluating talent/picking players on any level.

You know what you are correct! I do remember when Godchaux had rosenhaus in last summer it was mentioned that she was with the rosenhaus agency walking around Gillette when he contract was Done.

Your correct. @RobertWeathers clarified her role. I guess when Bill left her role was redefined.

I think it was Breer who said she was basically Mayos wet nurse from Jan till Aug but she went back to her more traditional role during the year.

Good question. I gotta tell ya, I sure wouldn't mind seeing this team structure their front office more like every single other team in the League does. I'd like there to be a GM, an HC, an OC, a DC, all doing the traditional duties of their roles and all of whom we all know who they are.

It may sound anal but I’m kind of surprised that every team isn’t required to have the same major FO positions. As in everyone has to have a gm, hc, dc, etc. This way you don’t have owners getting cute by taking on someone still getting paid by another team and other shady practices we see. Since the NYFL is so big on parity, player protection, etc…make everyone follow the same organization format. Pats definitely need to get up to date at least like you say. It’s not the 70s…

Wolf is sounding full of bs first with the statement on Saturday and now this weird contradictory excuse.

What is it: You drafted wonderfully and didn't get the development you wanted, or you drafted horribly because for some reason you didn't update your player grading system until after the draft?

Bill made an interesting comment which implies she was involved even before he left, and certainly after:

"People that own the team have the choice to do whatever they wanna do. The other people that were in place. . . it’s also the rest of the organization, it’s not just the head coach. So, you know, Robyn Glaser, Jonathan Kraft, whoever the other people are that are involved in those decisions and the structure of the organization." - Bill Belichick

I was high on Wolf initially. However his commentary on the player development, the OL, weaponizing the offense... seems he's not getting his share of the blame for the 32nd ranked roster. He's swimming right now.. and I firmly believe that some of his duties have been taken away from him and overseen by Highsmith.
