I did NOT say that Milton did a great job and that he is an accomplished NFL QB. HOWEVER, he had certain deficiencies in training camp. He was virtually hopeless in the short passing game and in the recognition of defense. It seems that someone has coached him up. He was accurate for the first time.
I was surprised to see VP go. One of the new coach's major responsibilities will be to find an OC and QB coach who can continue to mentor and deveop Maye and Milton, our #1 and QB hopefully #2 QB for at least the next three years.
