I was talking about **** MacPhearson, not Mayo. I've been of the biggest 'fire Mayo' people that you've ever seen. Not sure how he got a raw deal. He didn’t deserve the job, was way over his head and was rightfully fired.

Me tooI was talking about **** MacPhearson, not Mayo. I've been of the biggest 'fire Mayo' people that you've ever seen.
My opinion:Me too
Well there is such thing as practicing interviews and you may not even want the jobThis kind of situation defines the joke that is the Rooney rule. Some poor coach is going to have to be trotted out just for the sake of it. If I were a coach of color, I wouldn’t even make the trip without some kind of huge compensation.
Hope is restored for at least a dayWell, the board is a bit more active tonight than if they had decided to keep Mayo.
I guess no more trips?Mayo knew he was a lame duck going into today and stuck it to the pats. I have no sympathy for him that Kraft didn’t wait until tomorrow.
We will have to agree to disagree. My opinion:
Maybe he was rightfully fired, but it's forgotten that the guy got very sick, which was a factor in him losing his job; and his teams played hard for him. He's now remembered as a horrible coach, but I don't think that's fair. MacPhearson was twice the coach that Mayo is. I'm not saying he was a great coach only that he wasn't a complete nothing.
Ben Johnson HC, Matty P OC? LolJohnson has been in Detroit since before Campbell, so he has witnessed the makeover of the franchise.
Johnson was brought to Detroit by………..Matt Patrica.
He worked under Darrell Bevell and Anthony Lynn before becoming OC.
Before Detroit he spent 6 years in Miami under Philbin and Gase and a lot of OCs.
So he has 12 years in the NFL working with 4 different HCs and a number of OCs and multitudes of assistants. There should be no issue with him having connections.
I guess no more trips?
The guy that hired him didn’t deserve the job and was way over his head. In fact, it all started with ownership. Not sure how he got a raw deal. He didn’t deserve the job, was way over his head and was rightfully fired.
I can imagine Vrabel being interviewed, him Bob and Jonathan walk by her office and Mike asks what does she do? After they explain it to him he says not anymore.8. Move Robyn Glazer to another division of the Kraft companies.
No idea if this is true or not and it probably doesn't mean anything if it is:
whats a PFP?
Flores said some F'd up stuff too in a lawsuit but people still want to hire him. Gotta get good football guys despite that. The more I think about it, Gruden is the guy. I know he said some really ****ed up stuff over email but he’s a proven winner who can develop QBs. I don’t see how Kraft doesn’t at least ping him for an interview.
Not as head coach though.Flores said some F'd up stuff too in a lawsuit but people still want to hire him. Gotta get good football guys despite that.
I know I did exactly this. I lined up interviews with jobs I didn't want to go early during any conference week when I was looking for a job. After 2 or 3 of them, you are much more polished.Well there is such thing as practicing interviews and you may not even want the job
