Give me Vrabel or Give me Death

The two main things going for him:
(1) He's good at developing young QBs (see: Cassel, Jones).
(2) The odds of him getting a third crack at HC should be . . . low.
But if your HC is a Offensive coordinator your guy isn’t leaving.

There are several good candidates out there, and yes Vrabel is one of them. I agree with those who say we shouldn't just fixate on one guy.

I don't want Vrabel for the same reason I didn't want Mayo last year. He was the easy obvious choice they were going to make with zero due diligence. If they interview everyone available and it ends up being Vrabel, fine. But if they already decided on him, I'm not hopeful.

Idk, if they interview everyone and re-hire Mayo I’d be skeptical

Open search. Immediately hiring Vrabel would be lazy.

And McDaniels isn’t coming back. He’s an arrogant turd. Go back and refresh your memory on what went down in Denver and LV when Bill wasn’t holding his hand and didn’t have Tom as his QB.

For
My money, McDaniels is the best OC in NFL history
I'm not sure I'd go that far, but I'd certainly be willing to say "top 10 of the post-Colts-whinefest era."

Neither Cassell nor Jones ended up being franchise QB's. It would be hard for any QB to look bad in that offense that he took over in 2008 and Jones had a few good games when the training wheels were on, but the cracks started showing by the end of the year.

Get off the ledge lance come home buddy.
