Still no statement of support from Kraft for Mayo coming back next year

Two priorities for this game:

1) Get the first pick.

2) Perform badly enough that the Krafts will be forced to get their heads out of their butts, realize what a lousy job they did rebuilding team leadership post-Bill, and do a clean sweep: front office and coaches.

I'm sick of talking about it, and I'm sick of watching this crap team.

If your Mayo wouldn't you sit Maye and a few other guys, if you play starters and THEN YOU LOSE he might get himself fired. He plays them and wins he gets no credit.

That's why I think he's not playing to win this last game. He has nothing to gain by trying to win this game.

I hope not. He should be in a position where he has nothing to gain from ANY scenario, frankly. If the Krafts had any sense, his fate would be sealed by now, given his obvious incompetence. I'm at the point where if the Krafts don't care about the team, I won't either. If they don't admit their failure to rebuild the team's management and clean house completely, that will in my mind be an indication they care more about their damned Q-score than they do about the team. They need to develop the honesty and courage to admit their mistakes. If they don't, to Hell with them. And I reject the idea I am an "impatient fan" or a spoiled one. This has been a half a decade of horseshit, and I am, justifiably I think, at the end of my tether.

Pats win and Giants win… we still have the top pick? Or does SoS hurt us because it’s Buffalo?

Nopes titans and browns are at 3 wins and will stay there.

We would likely have the 3rd pick, but not because of SOS. Pats are locked into the worst strength of schedule among the teams with 3 (and 4) wins. They’ll win any round 1 draft position tiebreakers.

Which really speaks to how bad they are… the worst record against the softest schedule

If the Krafts chafe at not getting the credit they think they deserve for the dynasties (and they shouldn’t as they were just along for the TFB and BB ride) wait until they blow this perfect storm of having a young franchise QB, the 1st pick in the draft, and excellent replacements available for the coaching and FO disasters, by keeping an unqualified HC in place after a terrible performance, and one who didn’t have the qualifications to be hired in the first place.

If the Krafts deliberately miss this opportunity because of misguided loyalty to Mayo, ALL fingers will be pointing at the Krafts.

That explains his nickname. Maybe we should chip in to buy him one of these so he is more comfortable.

Lol. I bought one of those to try to manage one of our dog’s severe car anxiety without pharmaceuticals. It did nothing. 0.25 mg of Xanax works like a charm, though!

I may end up needing to use some of that Xanax myself, when Thunder announces on Monday morning that Mayo will return a head coach for 2025.

Couldn’t a variation apply to the Kraft’s ownership of the Pats, where if they can’t get the credit they think they deserve when the Pats are winning, then no one gets to enjoy it?
