Was listening to Bedard this week. He said something I agree with. The Bills game was decent last week, but if you can’t replicate that attention, talent, energy and ability the following week then it means nothing. They’re on track for that currently.

Any bad coach can devote a ton of time on one opponent and scheme up a good performance for 1 game - if all they can do is squeeze out 1 or 2 good performances in a season and then not be able to carry it over into the next week at all then they’re just not good, plain and simple.

On defense, they just used Bill’s scheme.

The problem One of the problems with this team is the defense is not well coached. They make the same mistakes over and over again. They are inconsistent, and they have no talent.

I understand but it speaks volumes to how the hiring process unfolded.

Mayo was selling us something that even to him came as a surprise that didn't happen.

In short, we have a puppet head coach who has zero chance to succeed because he isn't on the same page as the owner.

I mean these guys didn't even hire a GM for the draft and wonder why they came out of it with zero contributions from anyone.
