You can easily be 4th one year and still last over 8 years, they had to spend once because they were so low every other year and had cap to burn.Thats misleading, they've averaged 20th in the league in those years, they are only 32nd because for 2020, the year Brady left when spending went from $202 to $164.
In 2021 they were 4th in the NFL. 4th!
They also won 2 Super Bowls and played in 3 during that period.
BB was the highest paid coach int he NFL.
Someone posted earlier that they are also last over the last 25 years. Is this a new exhibit that was on TV this week, or did one person dig something old up and then have it regurgitated by all the bad aggregator accounts? Obviously it excludes 2024, which can be a valid way of looking at it but really just makes me think this is a year old.
I wouldn't say it's misleading - that's how averages workThats misleading, they've averaged 20th in the league in those years, they are only 32nd because for 2020, the year Brady left when spending went from $202 to $164.

Yes, I pointed out some of the many issues with that data and didn’t get any responses.Someone posted earlier that they are also last over the last 25 years.
It's misleading to say this proves Kraft is "confirmed cheap" because they are 32nd in this particular average.I wouldn't say it's misleading - that's how averages work
Fair to say that the idea “Kraft is cheap is misleading”, I thought you were claiming that the data in the tweet itself was misleading. It's misleading to say this proves Kraft is "confirmed cheap" because they are 32nd in this particular average.
Add to the fact BB was a major factor in determining spending for every year there it also is misleading to say it is Kraft.
The data shows they are about 20th in the league over that period when accounting for the one outlier year. The recent years have been worse than the Super Bowl contending years but also makes sense based on the roster and free agents available.
The team that was 4th in the entire league in cash spending in 1 year during that period while having the highest paid coach in the NFL that same year seems to indicate this metric is pretty poor in determining "cheap"
Kraft is cheap. Who drives a Bentley to a FL strip mall to save money on massages. A really cheap guy.Thats misleading, they've averaged 20th in the league in those years, they are only 32nd because for 2020, the year Brady left when spending went from $202 to $164.

BB has double the number of assistants at UNC than he had with the Patriots. Wonder why that is?It's misleading to say this proves Kraft is "confirmed cheap" because they are 32nd in this particular average.

This part baffles me obviously Bill chose who to spend on but you're going to have to explain why he would want to spend less than other teams?Add to the fact BB was a major factor in determining spending for every year there it also is misleading to say it is Kraft.
Am I the only person that wondered when that happened why someone with Kraft's money wasn't utilizing the services of one of those $1500+ an hour "Professionals"?Kraft is cheap. Who drives a Bentley to a FL strip mall to save money on massages. A really cheap guy.
