No. Have you kissed my backside lately? If not, I strongly suggest that you do so.
Maybe you can stick those picked nits up your backside instead. That might make you feel better.

In fairness, it's got nothing to do with the Patriots.
Not true. Bill will always be synonymous with the Patriots success, just as TB is. They have TB stories all the time. It just shows the pettiness of the Kraft family.

This whole thing is just sad. The greatest coach of all time basically ends up campaigning for himself to get a job at a second-tier football school in a second-tier conference. I am happy that he gets to coach again since he must truly love it to humble himself like this, but I was holding out hope the Eagles can Sirianni after they flame out in the first round of the playoffs. A situation like that would be perfect for Bill. A readymade "win now" team where Roseman could worry about assembling the team, and Bill could just coach. There is a solid chance Bill could break Shula's record in one season with the Eagles.

Maybe he made the decision he wants to go the college route.

Maybe he's doing it to show that he's ready to come back to the NYFL. If that's why then it's a great way to get a feel for the players coming out. That worked real well for Pete Carroll when he first came back.

Time to get season tickets. Who’s in?
Would be worth making a trip down to at least one game a year. I will have to mention it to the guys at the next tailgate.

That **** documentary was a real eye opener for me. It knocked the Kraft's down a few pegs.

What's going to be very interesting is if Bill gets into the HOF but Kraft doesn't.

You might be sad, but BB might be happy. What is sad about an old man enjoying his kids and grandkids on a college campus. There is great energy and excitement on campus. Maybe he will live a few more years doing what he loves with the people he loves. I wish him all the best.

Also haven’t they agreed to put up 20 million a year for players?

I wonder if BB is double dipping by becoming a coach at the college level and making Bob Kraft pay the full amount of his remaining contract.
Why not? Kraft fired him.

I know when is the last time North Carolina football has received this much publicity or been the main sports story on campus.

I really think this is opportunity for him to cast a large shadow on college football and change how things are done. He's gotta win. If he goes down there, is .500, with kids *****ing on socials, then it will indeed be sad. I am quite sure that he's had long talks with Saban and others about this. He knows what he's getting into, and knows where things need to be improved in the system as a whole. The only thing is: can he do it?

Tom E. Curran's Patriots Talk Podcast

I guess I was wrong that Bill would coach at UNC (or any college program). I just didn't think this was a good fit, for all the reasons that Brady, Jules, and Gronk outlined, jokingly, on Sunday. I really think he's going to find it an uphill battle to recruit top shelf, high end players who, for a lack of a better phrase, don't have the stomach to do what it takes to put up with him and all that he demands.

Tom Curran makes a very good case as to why.

This does make sense, that if he can fix the NCAA, and all that he knows is wrong with the culture of it, that it makes the NFL batter as a product as a whole. IF, huge if, he could do that, he'd be forever thought of as the guy who saved modern football from the mess the current NIL situation has created.

If anyone could do it, it would take someone with the cache of Bill Belichick to bring everyone to heel. I just don't think he can.

Suppose Saban joins him?
I doubt that he's going to revolutionize college football. He couldn't even fix the Pats once he dumped the keys to their success.

BB might get into NFL HOF before Pats HOF. I am disgusted with the Krafts.

UNC plays in a dump. The nicest stadium in that area is NC State's Carter-Finley. And I've seen nicer high school stadiums than what Duke has.
