Who Are The Top Tackles Available In Free Agency?

If we sign a good LT and a stud young WR like Travis Hunter, he might want to join the project, especially if Kraft finally backs up the Brinks truck, something around the tune of 30m per year.
Oooof... Higgins is a very good #2, you start paying #2's like #1's and you'll be pinned to the bottom of the standings for years.

Jedrick Wills seems to have worn out his welcome and Dawand Jones was playing well until he got hurt. Wills could be available, either way.
The Browns also need cap space... feelings don't mean much in relation to millions of dollars.

We could have Willis, it's just about money.

There are no left tackles in this draft worth taking in the first round!
Based on what?
In the first round we need hunter from Colorado. In the second round Kennard from South Carolina and in the third round the center/guard from Georgia and the wr from ole miss.
In the fourth round we take the OT from the dakotas and he spends all of next year putting on weight and strength and getting pro coaching!
In the meantime we sign Staley and he is the left tackle until the kid from the dakotas is ready to go in year 2 or 3!
Fourth round? Maye got sacked 4 times last game by a defense who isn't great at creating pressure.

The Blueprint Blitz -Blitz and more Blitz.

I’m good with this. I’d also be fine with best overall player not a QB or guard as it isn’t like this team couldn’t use talent at every spot.

It’s also the best way to build the best team. For years teams have bypassed great players, like Ed Reed, Aaron Donald, JJ Watt etc…. Because they “ really need - a WR, CB, TE etc… Anddsometimes that can be justified, because your LT is getting your QB killed, or your CB is giving away big chunks of yardage, and sometimes you are a need or two away from true Lombardi contention, and don’t have as many pressing needs. But overall, especially when you aren’t a contender, and aren’t loaded with talent, it’s a much better idea to take the All Pro caliber talent, and then address the need with your 2nd and 3rd round picks. Use the first rounder to take the great player, and atock up on as many of those as you can.

I like it! I'm all for singing Higgins as well. However I do like the DK and Deebo option's too. What about tet McMillan? Hunter is absolutely in our grasp as well. Imagine he and gonzo terrorizing WRs together.
I don't think Deebo and DK are possible at those prices - I was just responding to the post.

McMillan scares me. He doesn't separate and relies on his size and strength. NFL DBs might pose a big issue for him.

Hunter is fantastic, but if he's playing CB, he's not as valuable to this team, IMO. Is he a top-end WR? He's not rated that way and I haven't seen enough to know.

The way WR trades have transpired I believe the draft compensation is pretty much set. As I mentioned all pros are going for 2nd and 4th rounders. DK and Deebo are phenomenal and would likely be dealt for 4ths. On Hunter he's most likely a hybrid in my opinion I can see him being used primarily as CB but also in on some offense as well.

Here's the thing with T Hunter he has the Best hands in the Draft: throw it anywhere near him whether @ WR or CB and he'll Get it. On Tet McMillan he can play all over outside and in the Slot: Regarding separation it seems like CB's play off him a lot: which opens up crossers and quick screens. I like both WR's.

There are absolutely positively not 32 wide receivers in the league better than Higgins. Not even close. When chase doesn’t play, Higgins averages over 100 yards per game. Literally the only thing that could lead to calling Higgins a #2 is that he has the circumstance of having the best WR in the nfl as his teammate.

Slot WR Chris Godwin would be a nice consolation with either Hunter or Tet McMillan also.
Because we need another slot receiver so much more than we need OTs and the rest of the roster.

Expose the weakness… we have the worst offensive line in the NFL.
And this here thread about OT is flooded with posts arguing about WRs.

This team is so bad it’s giving fans brain rot.

I assume you’re referring to Grey Zabel? The Pats have had good luck with a Zabel in the past. @SteveKiner knows what I’m talking about amirite?
Steve Zabel was great for the Pats, so going by the name, I am on board. I have not seen anything of Grey Zabel and know very little about him. So I appreciate you brining him up. Watching some youtube highlights it looks like he is very athletic and a beast in run blocking ,but it is very tough to tell by highlight film. The guy he is dominating on film might be destined to be working at Home depot next year. Lower level competition is tough to judge but it worked out okay for Cody Mauch and even for Div 3 guys like Meinerz(sp?) I hope he gets an invite to the combine and all star games and shows what he can do. It certainly helped Cole Strange.

Weak draft, if somebody wants your spot and will give you a high first and another next season you’re dumb to not do it
