Well I need Mayo's luck for power ball tonight. My luck I'll get a power bar instead of powerball ticket. I feel you brother. But we are stuck with Mayo until at least next season. If it continues to look bad then he will be out brother.
Maybe Mayo wins the powerball and quits the team. Could happen.

This is both great and concerning from Patriots point of view. They have only so may few yrs with maye on a rookie contract to build a competetive team around him including a coaching staff.
Everyone does the NFL draft redos after knowing what they know. I wonder if Krafts knew they were going to have a player like maye, they wouldve hired Mayo and AVP et al.
The timeline for Maye’s contract is short and talent acquisition is an urgent concern. This points more to Wolf than coaches. Wolf gets an unsatisfactory from me on last year’s draft and given the urgency of the need I would look for a GM. Maybe one who can hire a better coach, because Mayo has revealed signs that he has not been up to job of preparation or game decisions. Because I see no improvement, I would replace Mayo as well. Tough call because you are starting over with a lost year on a short horizon.

The Commanders replaced their whole front office and are a playoff team this year after being 4 - 13. Not a tough call to me.

Better to start over than continue in a failed direction.

It can be done but it is a matter of probabilities and there is risk. Kraft needs to believe the entire plan based on many years of experience was wrong.

RK will know it was wrong this year or next. Rarely, if ever, does a management team change their stripes from one year to the next. Either way we will be heading in a new and better direction in 2025 or 2026.

The challenge I see is no good DC would want to come here as they know Mayo is also on a short leash. As for WR coach not sure if that coach is just a namesake or do they really have a role to play . So far , the pats WR coaches have been dummies for over a decade .

You said it was a good decision. It wasn’t he missed it and we lost.

They wanted to lose... Are you not aware of what's happening here?

Maybe take the rest of the season off if you actually think they're gonna be competitive. They are who they are and there no reason to be mad about it.

You think they are trying to lose? They scramble to get into fg range in order to miss it? Did they let up the TD and 2 pt conversion in purpose?
Did they take the lead by mistake? Did Gonzalez screw up with the Int? Will he be benched for it?
They are trying to be competitive. Their coaching is and GM decisions are holding them back from that.

They are tanking. Clear as day.

There is no way they are tanking. They are trying as hard as they can to win every game. They just suck and can’t even beat crappy teams.
They tried hard to beat the colts and couldn’t figure out how to stop Anthony Richardson. That’s how bad they are.
They want to win, they can’t.

I'll take them all. Give me a 30+ LT, a 20 something LT, and 2 picks.
I guess you can convince me to take bolles. I mean after the OL we saw all season I'd take anyone better.

Kraft didn't like the guys Parcells was bringing in for FA's which was why he took away his power right before the 1996 draft. Fast forward to now, Wolf has spent a **** ton of money on players and yet they have a whopping 3 wins right now. This is something that has been floating under the radar.
All he did was re-up guys. Pretty much did it becuase they got alot of **** for being 32nd or something close to it in spending. So having to satisfy the league requirements for spending they chose to sign thier own guys. All be it to team friendly deals. I doubt rham, Dugger and KB see the end their contracts. Another thing I'm worried the wolf in a GMs clothing will reward Lowe with an extension instead of singing a real tackle.

Albeit.
