So Cam Robinson should be ours: two big splashes Robinson and Higgins. Fills two glaring positions LT and WR.Damn! That's who I was hoping they got for LT in FA.

What about Elic ayomanor. Coming from Stanford means good ethics and intelligence , great physique and nice catch radius and decent speed.
6'2 205 lbs and 4.41 speed. He could be our X.
Comp seems to be Mike evans
Higgins: Absolutely (although drafting another WR who would be a stud would be nice). Robinson: He's better than anyone we currently have, but we still need to draft a young and promising LT as Robinson will be 30 next season. So Cam Robinson should be ours: two big splash Robinson and Higgins. That's young: the Bronco's FA Left Tackle Garett Bolles is going to be 33 by FA. I wouldn't mind him for a couple of years until the young guy is ready.Higgins: Absolutely (although drafting another WR who would be a stud would be nice). Anyone who's a definite upgrade to what we have is preferable (although that bar is set pretty low). Just so long as they draft a talented youngster to step-in if the veteran gets injured and/or their contract is up/they retire. That's young: the Bronco's FA Left Tackle Garett Bolles is going to be 33 by FA. They didn't spend much outside last FA I hope this upcoming FA is different.Anyone who's a definite upgrade to what we have is preferable (although that bar is set pretty low). Unfortunately, Walker Little got resigned by Jacksonville. He was my #1 FA LT that I was hoping for. What do you think of this: If we can get a team to take Onwenu in a trade (they'd take his contract and we'd get whatever draft pick for him), if we can sign Trey Smith from Kansas City who would cost no more than Onwenu and is younger, but has the speed to play in a Zone Scheme but is also big enough to play Gap if required. I don't see the FA LT market being any better in 2025 than it was last year (especially with Little being resigned). They didn't spend much outside last FA I hope this upcoming FA is different.
Cam Robinson was the Jacksonville Starter though...we could have him in the fold at the Trade Deadline: the draft capital was minor. We will have to outbid someone to get him: but we have a Need.Unfortunately, Walker Little got resigned by Jacksonville. He was my #1 FA LT that I was hoping for. So, another Wolf blunder for not doing so? I'm guessing yes.Cam Robinson was the Jacksonville Starter though...we could have him in the fold at the Trade Deadline: the draft capital was minor. We will have to outbid someone to get him: but we have a Need.
Who exactly will Maye be throwing the ball to in this scenario? Is that fair to Maye not to invest in any receiving weapons and leave him with the worst WR core in the NFL?
I am not sure with taking OLineman if we are at range 1-7 pick.IMO it is gonna be a reach. It is not because they are not talented but there are plenty of them in round 2 this year.
My choice would be between MCmillan or Graham from Michigan. Both of them would bring immediate impact to our team.

I'll give you this: You do make almost every post that someone makes something that you want to be argumentative about. And no. I don't know for certain. It was just MY TAKE. Your life will go on. By the way, it must be awesome that you're vastly more intelligent and just generally superior to everyone else. That very fact is going to make me loose some sleep tonight. Actually, I'm quite humbled by your comment. Perhaps I should just rethink my entire life thus far because of it. I'm indebted to you. Thank you!!!Oh? So you know, for certain, that Cam Robinson was made available to the Pats and that Wolf turned them down? Could you show us where you got that info?
I'm no fan of Wolf, but making assumptions that he could have made a particular deal just because another team was able to is the epitome of dumb. No one outside of Jax knows whether or not Robinson was even on the block when the Vikings went calling to Jax after Darrisaw was injured.

If Higgins medically checks out, I'd pursue him. But, I'd still be looking for a WR in the 2025 Draft who has legit potential to be a #1 (although I'd settle for a legit upper end #2 alongside Higgins. There were those two back to back drafts when some #1 and upper #2 WR's were taken and we whiffed sadly. Metcalf, Brown, Higgins, Pittman Jr., and Samuel came out of those two 2nd Rounds. I suppose you don't need a stud WR in the 1st round, if history has taught us anything. We just need personnel people that can spot them. Even so, it's always a gamble I guess. If they are convinced MacMillen will become a great pro WR then by all means take him, but taking someone just because they fill a need is always a terrible idea.
Sounds like you feel our Wide Receivers aren’t a deficiency and that bringing a couple solid O line on board would alleviate all of our offensive woes. So, you can't tell the difference between Jalen and Tyrone and you have no idea who is actually on the roster.
The Pats have invested 5 picks in the last 3 years into receivers and TEs. And that doesn't include Marcus Jones.
They also have Bourne under Contract.
Wasting a 1st round pick on another WR is what the Detroit Lions did when they were garbage. I'd rather NOT be like them. Clearly, you're in the camp where s**king for another year would be ok.
BTW, SFBs, the Pats aren't close to the worst receiving corps in the NFL.
Maybe a better oline would give that extra second to separate. Anyway, WR's are low on my list. OL/DL/Edge/LB. Offense sans penalties and better goal line utilization of Drake would be adequate.Sounds like you feel our Wide Receivers aren’t a deficiency and that bringing a couple solid O line on board would alleviate all of our offensive woes.
5 picks in 3 years doesn’t mean anything if the return nets zero quality. They have just invested in a future star QB. Not to equip our best player with proper weapons seems insulting, and sets him up to fail.
Bourne? Hes an aging number 3 WR at best, far from a quality wideout.
“another” …we’ve drafted a wide receiver ONCE in the first round since 1996…at 32 overall. I wouldn’t exactly call that Detroit Lions territory. Drafting a stud wide receiver in the top 5 is a far cry from drafting a project in round 2. A young aspiring QB Drake Maye could really use a Jamar Chase level WR to take his game and our offense to another level.
I’m not in the camp for sucking for another year..I’m in the camp that a number 1 WR could completely change this offense and rise it to greater heights to win far more games. Yes they have that much of an impact. I’m also in the camp that leaving our wide receivers in the state they are in, will cause another year of despondent play no matter how much we improve the o line
Yes the patriots are very close to the worst wr crew in the nfl. Name 3 that are worse?? The patriots wide receivers are short, can’t separate, lack athleticism and quick twitch ability, stink in the redzone, and are pitiful in YAC
