Do you think Kraft has it in him to fire his hand-picked HC after 1 year? What worries me is krafts statement that he’s proud to only have 3 HCs in his tenure. He admires the Steelers way to doing things.
Parcells, Carroll, Belichick and Mayo ...... One of these things is not like the others. Kraft should sell if he can't see or is unwilling to fix this.

I don't need a full rush package like Lamar but can anyone explain to me why Drake doesn't get a short yardage and goal to go rushing package?
AVP is terrible.

Just like the movie he gets his namesake from.

He didn't hire Parcells.

OFFENSE
We don't need to add a stud at QB, at RB, or at TE. (we do need to re-sign Hooper)
We need to add several studs at OL and at WR.

DEFENSE
Yes, we need studs at every level
DL
EDGE
LB
CB
S

A THREE YEAR REBUILD
We won't do ALL of this in Year 2, but we should sign or draft players we think will be studs at all these positions. And just perhaps some of the youngsters that we have will develop to be really good players. For example, Austin COULD develop, or not.
The problem is that you punted on year 1, except for the layup QB pick.

The Pats need help everywhere. Name a position outside of QB where they need a stud and you won't be wrong.
You mean a stud as in the top 3 player at that position? Or you mean an above avg player that plays well cohesively on said unit ?

Our run defense was really poor, unlike our run defense against MIA.
======
I liked our pass defense. We have three young stud corners: Gonzo, Marco Jones, and Austin. Our safeties played fine, as did Tavai and Ellis.
======
We knew that we had a very poor OL. Maye compensated by getting rid of the ball in below 2.5 seconds. Maye couldn't make up for the penalties.
======
Let's be clear. Other than our OL, our Offense was outstanding; Maye, Henry, Hooper, Bourne, Douglas, Boutte. Gibson, Stevenson.
I think if the FO can get it together and draft some quality OL ((especially LT) and get a legit #1 receiver through FA, draft or trade, they’ll be ready to take that next step next season.

Their D will still terrible outside of Gonzo.

Your point? Yes, we need to upgrade most (4?) of our OL starters and we don't know how many backups.

For others, it means that our entire coaching staff should be fired, as well as half the team.
===
I've seen NO ONE simply say that with an adequate OL, we would be a very different team.
Relax bud, they suxk.

A fully healthy Barmore is pretty good. Wise is good but he needs to be more consistent, an additional DL that can pressure the QB would help.

Fully healthy Barmore is a beast, he’ll be 100 next season.

He’ll just hit you with a drive by “I don’t agree” emoji reaction and offer nothing like every other thread. I don’t think that miserable dude agrees with anything here
Yeah because a lot of people here are impatient crazy people with no perspective that make up wild stories about the team, management and owners in their head with no evidence or proof.

Sesquipedalian?

Try floccinaucinihilipilification.
Ahh, you're making my inner word nerd all warm and fuzzy. I've never encountered the second word, and never got around to looking up the definition of the first. I am bored, however, so off I go!

Even though it may not be considered a need this is a great year to add a mid round rb. One of the deepest classes we’ve seen in a while.
I still have no clue why we Extended Rham.

One good thing about the game is Maye played a clean 60 minutes. Don't care about the int, it wasn't on him. His play is what is important. This makes 2 of his last 3 games which were clean or almost clean. Good trend. Was it perfect from him today? No. But it was really good.

One other piece of bad news. It may be possible for the pats to lose out and not get a top 5 pick I think. There are so many really bad teams it is insane. Someone may go 3-14 and not pick in the top 5 this year. Hope it ain't us.

Pats probably aren't going to win again this year Bills 2x, Chargers and Cards. Bills should both be blown outs. Chargers should win convincingly. Maybe we can steal one vs the Cards but I don't think it happens. They aren't that good but are solidly in the middle.

The 11th President of the United States - who did we think we were talking about?

The 2021 team was the worst team in nfl history to make the playoffs.

Look at who the patriots beat that year with their 10 wins:

3-14 Jacksonville Jaguars
4-13 New York Jets 2x
4-13 Houston Texans
5-12 Carolina Panthers
7-10 Atlanta Falcons
8-9 Cleveland Browns

7 of their 10 wins came against the garbage of the NFL.

Mac had better weapons than Maye did. Mac had Jacobi Meyers, Nelson Agholor and a younger Bourne at WR and Hunter Henry + Jonnu at TE. Damian Harris (15 touchdowns) was better than Rham.

On defense, they had a prime all pro pass rushing beast, Matt Judon. They also had JC Jackson (8 Interceptions, league leading 23 PD) . Also McCourty, Hightower..Couple old vets still on the team. Better talent.

Would Belichick go to the playoffs with this current team? No way. And his appalling GM skills is a big reason we’re in this mess
The 2024 Pats would be knocking on the door of the post season with BB.

No way is this team that unprepared and undisciplined under Belichick. Kraft really painted himself into a corner this time.

Corky Jones lost again yesterday and he had a great day for him. No INTs.
