All this proves is that he's worse than BB's worst season.

I listen to mayo when he would break down the pats games with curran, he seemed like a smart guy who had learned a lot after being a player under BB and then on BBs staff. But at this point it looks like mayo never absorbed basic coaching knowledge in all that time

Mayo needed to prove himself as a sole DC without Bill before he was considered for HC.

I haven’t watched more than a couple quarters of games all season, and haven’t watched a minute the last two or so months. I promised myself I’ll never watch another Patriots game until one of Kraft or Mayo leaves this team.

I must admit I broke my promise to myself and watched the last drive of today’s game…I had a big bet on Colts moneyline, so it all worked out in the end.

It's on the spot situational stuff.

I'm sure once the game is over he can figure out what worked, and what did not.

But he just doesn't seem to be quick enough in the situation.

For example why didn't he call timeouts on defense to give Maye more time?

I really believe a case can be made to fire Mayo after the season.

He’s a defensive guy and the defense has been AWFUL.

What exactly does he even bring other than “feelgood vibes” and generic corporate quotes?

I can live with this awful product and season if they fire everyone, and get good draft position.

Big picture, another good loss. The season is toast and really it is just about experience for both players and coaches. Pats had fight and were right there but this doesn’t hurt the upcoming draft. It’s tough but long-term most likely good.

I would have liked to see Mayo challenge that questionable catch on 3rd down during the Dolt’s final drive. Why not?

The D was not "solid"... they were playing one of the worst QBs in the NFL... and he torched them on a game winning drive, they gave up 200 yards rushing... they were as "soft" as ever

If that’s solid defense, giving up 50 to a good team must be “solid”

We also need o give Maye some grief. He threw an awful INT when the were in scoring position. He is throwing at least one pick a game and that is an unsettling trend. I am willing to give him a break because of the overall talent around him but that one was on him. He needs to break this trend .
