As a Maine to GA transplant of 16 years, I’ve been so grateful to have become a UGA fan in 2008, and an overall huge college football fan.

This year’s new playoff format is WILD.

After OSU, Miami, and Clemson lost today it presents an insane scenario where I don’t think ANYONE has a clue who gets into the CFP beyond Oregon, Texas, Penn State, Notre Dame, and MAYBE Tennessee as locks.

You could say my Dawgs are in even if they lose to TX but the committee seems to hate GA this year. That said, I think GA just matches up well with Texas.

SMU, Indiana, and even friggin UNLV have legit paths to the playoff.

Crazy year but a welcome distraction to the dumpster fire in Foxboro.

Who ya got in the CFP?

In no order I have:

Texas
Penn State
Ohio State
Notre Dame
Oregon
Tennessee
Indiana
Georgia
Clemson
Boise State
Alabama
SMU

Who us the most hated cfb team?

I want them

Probably Notre Dame or Alabama, although they also have a lot of people that love them, too.

Hopefully we’re talking about BC with BOB in the CFP next year!

I went to the '93 Notre Dame / BC game in south bend... pretty cool place to see a game

I can’t believe you would abandon that perennial Black Bear powerhouse for UGA?

Here you go....have at it

The David Gordon game? That’s awesome!

I got to see ND-Navy this year at MetLife. I thought the way I naturally repelled women was an impressive force of nature, but the aversion that the football had to the midshipmen was unlike anything that I’ve ever seen. Great time, though!

not sure who david gordon is... It was Glen Foley at qb for BC... they knocked off the #1 Irish... was cool though, we spent the night before the game on the Notre Dame campus... my buddies sister was working there, she arranged it... got to see the (in)famous #1 lit up... and even cooler we got to walk across the field after the game...

He’s the kicker that hit the game winner at the end.

That’s quite the memory you got to live through!!!

About a decade before you moved to GA our youngest went to Georgia Tech. In our first assembly of all the parents the school's president had us all yelling I HATE GEORGIA. His message was that GT takes their sports as seriously as their academics. His message never got through to our son though who has no interest in sports, other than to attend an occasional event with me only to have that experience.

I don't follow college ball but I did catch the ending of the 8 OT GT-GA game. GT had their chances but didn't come through when they had them.

I'm glad that the NCAA finally opened up the football playoffs. Picking 4 teams does not guarantee that you'll get the best team into the playoffs. Taking 12 teams does. All that team has to do now is beat the other teams they face.

I don't follow it (like I said) but I think I'll be pulling for Indiana to make it and to win. Our oldest went there and I think it would make for a good story.

Yeah you can see why I was into Hockey more than college football in the 90’s

That QB kid from Tech is an absolute warrior. I don’t think he’ll be a QB in the NFL, but sure could be a fun H back to have.

I want my Vols to get another shot at UGA….

Frozen 4 has always been fun. Same teams for the most part though. Pick a school from Colorado, NE, Minnesota, Michigan or North Dakota.

Georgia is probably gonna wreck them out. One of the big reasons I wanted to see that game was to watch Kelvin Banks get another shot to match up against an elite college defense. He got injured today vs Texas a&m and is in a walking boot on the sidelines. How convenient, his draft stock took a huge hit vs Alabama and he’s got it back up to top LT selection, only to possibly miss an opportunity to shine vs the best and prove he can succeed against top end talent. Coincidence? Probably, but disappointing nonetheless. If he plays at least he’ll have the ankle or foot etc to fall back on.
