Chefs are saving their best football for January. No need to put forth a huge effort to beat these tomatoes can teams.

I thought that a few weeks ago but this Chiefs team is giving me some of those flawed Patriots team vibes in the 2009-13 range where you knew it wasn't quite right no matter what the record said and it got exposed in the playoffs.

It's hard to be mad cause how badly the raiders ****ed that up. Two drives in a row.

But to categorically get it that wrong is unacceptable.

Well when you go into every game with a "help the Chiefs when you can" and "if its looking dire for the Chiefs to lose HF, do what you must" there isn't anything they are going to do to them.

What was the point of doing that if you're not going for a FG? If you need more yards you snap the ball and go. Now you're just putting your self in a situation where you have to go for it cause otherwise you've left time for KC to get the ball back.

The idiot Pierce said that they were going to throw the ball away to kill more time off the clock. Which then begs the question why didn't they just wait longer to spike the ball to begin with.

3rd and 11 and the only play you can run is to the sidelines at that point cause you can't come up and spike it on 4th. It made no ****ing sense.

Meanwhile on the possession before they did the same thing by wasting a time out to send the FG unit out there since they apparently didn't think it was 4 down territory with 2 mins and change elect.

It's rigged. That kind of incompetence can't be explained any other way.

They were blowing the whistle before the ball was recovered.

I know what I saw. When the ref is that incompetent the play is dead. We don't just act like there wasn't a red blowing the whistle during a live play.

To get closer? 50yd is not a chip shot. 15sec is plenty enough for a quick sideline hookup

It was 3rd and 3 not 3rd and 11, I thought maybe they were going to try a sideline pass for a few yards and get the FG a bit closer since the guy had struggles with FG's all day. They could have thrown middle for 5 yards and had time to spike it also as 3rd and 3 all routes would be short so they can reset and spike easily.
It'd be a lot like the Brady to Wiggins play in the first Super Bowl right before the winning kick.

You think the raiders have time to run a play with 15 seconds and then spike the ball?

What if for some reason they don't get the first down but the ball was caught? They can't spike it cause it's 4th down.

The only play here is to go on the outside and even then it's a risk because if you don't get out of bounds it's probably over.

The only play here was to spike the ball with 3 seconds left and Attempt the FG. They blew it in every way.

I'm fairy certain there was a ref blowing a whistle before that ball was recovered too.
