Wolf has made worse GM decisions than post Brady BB

Yeah drafting a raw undersized prospect in the 6th round as an afterthought that nobody other than liars had the faintest idea what he would become is not exactly the same thing as picking your franchise-QB to be in the first round and you know that. They already had a franchise QB.

There's also a major difference in age between Bill then and now. Bill at his age isn't drafting a guy that needs work risking that he won't win with him.

They had Brady and he was never starting over him. Nothing further to discuss.

See above.

Funny - there were reports that he didn't think much of Josh Allen. That fits right in to Bill's MO to prefer the more polished guy not the developmental guy.

Mac Jones played in a pro style offense and a national championship caliber program. Maye, umm....didn't. The end.

Bill was never drafting Maye. No way, no how, no chance. All other opinions have no basis in anything other than defending the wall for Bill.
So the things he really did don't count but your made up versions of what he would of done are facts.

Hater.

Should have just kept posting "." - that's way more intelligent than whatever this ^^^ is.

Bill would not have drafted Maye. Stay mad.

I'm assuming he wouldn't have taken him. You're arguing why he would have - which means you think he might have. Which is fine. I don't think he would have. I'll take it a step further - he's never used a top-15 pick on an offensive player.

Ever. Until Mac Jones.

And you can argue, "Well, they never picked high that often." True, but when they did, they took guys like Richard Seymour, Ty Warren, Jerod Mayo, etc.

And as I said to @sb1, had it not been for Saban, maybe he wouldn't have taken Jones and would have done what he did with Garoppolo and others and targeted someone further down.

But I do think if he had the #3 pick and wasn't 100% head over heels for Maye, he absolutely would have traded down and potentially taken McCarthy or Nix, or whoever.

Belichick loves draft picks and he was coming off a season where they were embarrassed and had a lot of holes to fill. He would have done all he could to give them the best chance to do so. Especially if the guy sitting at #3 wasn't a "must-have" guy in his eyes.

Again, just my opinion, but previous history tells me that's what he would have done. Although, at the same time, McCarthy wasn't terrible and neither is Nix, and we won't know for a few years on Maye. Hopefully, he's "the guy" we all believe he might be. But I think Belichick would have played it the same way he always had. And yes, I'm being serious.
A better way to interpret that is the only time he went top 15 for an offensive player was the year he absolutely needed a QB.

Of course Bill would have drafted Maye.

^ Good.

And while you're at it tell your Team Bill buddies to stop defending the wall on the Mac Jones pick. There was nothing wrong with picking Mac Jones there. It didn't work out but that doesn't mean it was a bad pick. CoLLaBoRaTiON my ass.

Not to mention Bill would have this team in the playoffs with either Maye or Nix.
Yes, he could have picked Nix. Not Maye though. No chance at all.

I believe he would go with JJ McCarthy. The polished, safe pick.

I don't play this team split history in half game that you created. I'm a team Patriots guy and I love Bill and Brady equally. And I will never play that game of division that you play just because you'd rather tear things apart in some lame feud with some poster.

Wrong he would have picked Maye or even convinced Washington to and taken Daniels. See I can make up stuff too.

Great, then we're on the same page. And it's more than one poster.

Mac Jones was a fine pick at 15 and it fit with Bill's MO on just about everything we've seen and heard.

Very unlikely Bill would suddenly change his mind on the type of QB he wants on his team. I mean he dissed Josh Allen, a guy similar to Maye so all the evidence we have points one way.

Clicking an agreement reaction to someone who posts that we shouldn't speculate on what Bill would do... and then you speculate anyway. That's funny. Lol

SB1 making and his buddies making stuff up in order to hate some more

The people making **** up are the people attributing Belichick’s decisions to Wolf. Adrian Klemm worked for Belichick, not Wolf, and even Groh was above Wolf in the pecking order in Belichick’s last season, and Klemm’s only season. I have given Belichick tons of credit for everything good he did for the Patriots, but he wasn’t perfect, and the effort by some to whitewash his mistakes by pretending Wolf was calling the shots is complete and utter ********.

The two of you combine to make a sort of Andy-bot of thread ruination. Your heedless disregard for the rest of us is over the top smdh
