I figured they would start the season slow with a lot of growing pains but starting to come together by Thanksgiving. Not world beaters or anything but solid. They're just as bad now as they were at the beginning of the season minus some highlight throws by Maye.

I wouldn't say frustrating loss, more like maddening performance. At this point I'm happy for the loss but the still-descending quality of football is driving me insane.

I agree Ian, we need A REAL head coach, a new line, and some weapons for Maye. Right now, this is who the Patriots are. I can’t deal with year 2 of Mayo, he needs to go.

It is possible. I just don't see what he brings to the table as far as coaching ability. But he's going to get another year at least.

Great player maybe a great manager at Optum a decent LB coach but a terrible HC.
Kraft don’t waste the gift that Maye has been.

The concept of starting slow and improving is based upon young players getting experience. Besides Maye, all of our young players suck.

He does, but he was constantly being put in bad positions by his offense. So you have to take that into account. He did pretty damn good considering what he was dealing with and never quit.

I don't like the late game turnovers though much and thats how you win titles, not turning it over.

Today I saw a kid take on a whole team all by himself. It was brutal. No HC or any coaches, no protection, no defense. Nada.
