I think there is a newer list I cannot find .... heard it on Zolak and Bertrand.
If I heard correct we are last on that list at roughly 3%.
In and out of my car so it's hard for me to hear a better synopsis on an issue.

So over the last 10 years, SB winners are:

#1 KC -3
#17 TB - 1
#20 LAR -1
#24 DEN - 1
#25 PHI -1
#30 NE - 3

Outside of KC, all are in the bottom half.

Tied for 1st with KC in SB wins over that time (Pats 2014, 2016, 2018; KC 2019, 2022, 2023)
Fair to say that those Pats wins could be attributed more to the players drafted prior to the last 10 years (Brady, Gronk, McCourty, Slater, Edelman, Hightower, Solder, Cannon, Ching, Vollmer). The ones who made an impact to championships in the last decade are Thuney, Mason, and White.. and that goes all the way back to 2015 & 2016, almost a decade.

Patriots have been a very poor drafting team since the 2016 draft.

Sounds about right. Outside of the truly hurrendous drafts, the ones that were reasonably good still didn’t land any top end talent. Which is what this team has really lacked and needed since the end of our dynasty. Cant win with a bunch of solid to below avg guys. I think that 5 includes mac jones as an alternate and at least one special teamer.

Though if maye progresses the way we hope we might have one at the most important spot. Barmore, Gonzalez, white have potential to be this for us too but we still need a few more horses.

We need one stud wide receiver. I think that alone will elevate the offensive line as a whole and get a zone based running back. The OSU kid..

Had the Pats not drafted McCourty (when playing FS), HT, Jones, late returns on Edelman and most importantly Gronk - Tom and Bill don't win another Super Bowl together and would've parted ways well before 2016's Super Bowl win.

The 3 Super Bowls where fueled by the 2009, 2010 and 2012 drafts.

Also wanted to point out Bill letting Welker walk was extremely controversial and allowed Edelman to emerge. In fact, Edelman said he was getting ready sign with the Giants had Welker re-signed and/or Hernandez was still on the team. Edelman realized he was too low on the totem pole and had to make a business decision.

This move doesn't get talked about enough.

The entire list needs to be recalculated because they are including overlap from players drafted before 2014. Cowboys should be only 7 Pro Bowlers drafted - not 13.

Pats only had 2 - Thuney, and Jake Bailey. Mac Jones was an alternate.

What to do.. this discussion might be there for next 3-4 years as bill drafts let the well run dry for over a decade and the stench will go off only possibly in 2026.

Wolf and Groh should be on notice or if Ben Johnson wanted to come here , fire everyone enmasse including Groh , wolf, Mayo, Covington while retaining just AVP if he desires as a QB coach.

Maye , Gonzo, Barmore, Henry are the only constants for the near future and all business decisions are pertaining to putting Maye in the best spot for success. I feel two stud wide receivers will do a lot more than having an OT.

Hoping we get top 3 pick, trade down and grab an additional 1st rounder and 2nd rounder. Trade the 2024 first rounder for DK Metcalf and sign tee Higgins in FA . With the second rounders draft linebackers and left guard. With 3rd rounder draft the running back from OSU. Sign two middle of pack OT in free agency. Maye has elevated this Oline. With more continuity and better receiver pool the Oline will look like studs.

2025 ask dugger and Henry to take paycut , else we can again draft offensive linemen with 2 first rounders.

Why are you asking players to take pay cuts when we aren’t spending to the cap? What does that gain?

Well obviously this tandem of Mayo/Wolf suck !!! Fire em’ Krafty !!! Set the building ablaze!! We gotta get us some of them probowlerz!!

Dugger yes, but Henry's contract is already a bargain. In fact, I have no idea why he agreed to that.

Where does NE rank on cash spending?
