Andy Reid's team isn't short on talent like ours.Andy Reid didn't draft any of those guys either, does he suck or is that just a list of good NFL players?

I think we would have seen Barmore and Mills either way... a better situation than with MacI was torn on him and Micah Parsons. Parsons was a boom/bust. I’m glad both weren’t available because that would’ve been a tough call.
It's funny how Maye is substantially more talented than Brissett but they keep losing.Andy Reid's team isn't short on talent like ours.
Lol. Bill couldn't even develop a high floor polished Jones so why on earth would anyone believe he'd do any better with a project like Mills.I think we would have seen Barmore and Mills either way... a better situation than with Mac
Mills also might have become a better player with BB and McD developing him.
If Jonathan wasn't meddling, the overall results would have been much better and they could have drafted another QB to be safe next offseason or beyond.
I don’t believe Bill is such a bad evaluator and thinks the guys he took were better players. Chris Simms has said Bill would take character over talent any day and that’s what eventually got him in trouble.Bill gets the blame for this…
2018-2020 NFL drafts players who fell to the Patriots and we passed on them:
Lamar Jackson
Calvin Ridley
AJ Brown
DK Metcalf
Deebo Samuel
DJ Moore
Nick Chubb
Tee Higgins
Brandon Aiyuk
Diontae Johnson
Courtland Sutton
Michael Pittman
Terry McLaurin
De’Andre Swift
The O-line and defense that you called elite last season actually kinda blow. Funny how that works...It's funny how Maye is substantially more talented than Brissett but they keep losing.
Jim Caldwell took Tony Dungy's really talented Colt's roster and coordinators to a Super Bowl, then went 10-6, then had 2 wins.Peyton Manning took Caldwell who was a terrible college coach to a Super Bowl game. Don't see why Brady couldn't win one with Hue Jackson as his coach. Great players are much more important than great coaches. Great coaches can't make bad teams good. Great players especially a great QB can.
That I called the offensive line last year "elite" is a straight up lie.The O-line and defense that you called elite last season actually kinda blow. Funny how that works...
Kansas City Chiefs had 3 future NFL hall of famers on some of those teams Patrick Mahomes Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. 4, if you count Chris Jones on defense.Andy Reid didn't draft any of those guys either, does he suck or is that just a list of good NFL players?
So he rode the Colts good players to success.Jim Caldwell took Tony Dungy's really talented Colt's roster and coordinators to a Super Bowl, then went 10-6, then 2 wins.
Tom Brady went to a 7-9 team and basically singlehandedly turned them around and won it all. Great players can do that. Coaches can't.Matt Stafford played in Detroit for 12 years, never won a playoff game, came to the Rams and in one season won four games including a Super Bowl. Team matters more than one player.
I said the O-Line sucked and you called me a Mac shill and tried to tell me they've been elite since week 3 (which they were not). Nice try...That I called the offensive line last year "elite" is a straight up lie.
In fact I called offensive line the single biggest problem on the team the first month of football last season.
The Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill two championships back... he has been a nonfactor in the last two rings beyond the money saved and draft picks used to improve the overall roster.Kansas City Chiefs had 3 future NFL hall of famers on some of those teams Patrick Mahomes Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. 4, if you count Chris Jones on defense.
not even comparable…
Lie, the offensive line was a mash unit of injuries last year. I said that was the biggest problem on the team the first two weeks.I said the O-Line sucked and you called me a Mac shill and tried to tell me they've been elite since week 3 (which they were not). Nice try...
I specifically mentioned 2018-2020The Chiefs traded Tyreek Hill two championships back... he has been a nonfactor in the last two rings beyond the money saved and draft picks used to improve the overall roster.
I also pointed out that Lowe was beaten on that Jones int against the Colts and you called me a Mac shill again. You also scoffed at the stats I pointed out that said they were terrible at pass blocking.Lie, the offensive line was a mash unit of injuries last year. I said that was the biggest problem on the team.
I also said Mac wasn't playing that bad up through the first two games. Then the line got kind of healthy and Mac fell off a cliff.
The problem for you is I can provide receipts.
The won a single ring with Tyreek.I specifically mentioned 2018-2020
Tyreek Hill was still on the chiefs for all 3 of those years he still counts. Why would Andy Reid draft any of those WRs when he had Tyreek and Kelce…two of the most explosive weapons the nfl has ever seen
As for the last two years…..They still have Mahomes. A top 3 QB of all time. Travis Kelce, a top 2 TE of all time. A defensive hall of famer Chris Jones. 3 pro bowlers on the o line. Should I go on?
I agree with both you and @Wozzy on this.So he rode the Colts good players to success.
Exactly. It wasn't the coach, it was the players.
Tom Brady went to a 7-9 team and basically singlehandedly turned them around and won it all. Great players can do that. Coaches can't.
I just credit team, whereas SB1 credits one magical unicorn player.I agree with both you and @Wozzy on this.
I think it goes both ways. Tom may have won his first year in Tampa, but the coaching certainly deteriorated in his 2nd and final year.
Troy Aikman said while they won with Switzer, the drop off from Jimmy Johnson was glaring and contributed to their downfall.
The 2000 Rams teams missed Vermeil.
Don't worry about it he's just a troll. He doesn't even like Brady. He thinks Brady is a liar.I just credit team, whereas SB1 credits one magical unicorn player.
QB's are a part of team, not apart from team.
