Yeah they were terrible. They came out of the NFC by default. The conference was really bad that year and a healthy Rams team would've ran them out of the stadium. In fact, they whooped the Giants without Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk in a week 11 matchup beating them 38-24 at the Giants. At one point it was 38-17 late in the 3rd quarter.

It could've been worse. Bill could've drafted Zack Wilson or Trey Lance. Being the 15th pick and 4th QB taken is really not that big of a loss.

Regarding Davis Mills maybe I shouldn’t laugh. Then Bill would’ve been fired sooner and the Patriots could’ve gotten a 2 year head start on finding a good head coach who doesn’t need the GOAT QB to win anything.
