Another thing I like about him.. checking on this IG stories, he's definitely not a ME-ME type guy and seems to post about his teammates a lot. It seems like he really appreciates his teammates and they feel the same way.
The fact that he said “ it starts with us 6” … referring to the linemen and himself… that was cool.

Great stuff! I feel like he's special.. I like alot of posters thought he'd have to sit and develop like the team planned for him to do. From the time he was drafted his development happened so fast that I believe it surprised the coaches. For him to be a rookie and leading like he has holding guys accountable, making plays that aren't there, being the reason his teams in positions to win games. I'm really glad we have another QB in NE. I'm curious to see how he gets surrounded with guys that can help him.
Good thing is you never want to be the player that follows a GOAT player
You want to be the player after that
This way Drake is not being compared to Brady. Which is a no win situation
He is following Mac which lets him be himself

Very true! I can definitely agree with that statement!

Yes! a buddy of mines grew up in Houghs neck and he was tell me stories over the years of how he often see brady and alot of the players hanging out in the area alot. Drake reminds me alot of young brady the person.. humble, all about the team.. never got too high or too low.. I will say this.. I expect Drake to be even better next season.. with real difference makers around him! So...if AVP ever gets a HC opportunity down the line he should be giving Drake the 10% not his agent.
I have been critical of the coaching staff and GM
Just don’t like that they surrounded the offense with nothing but Maye
In game adjustments are non existent at times

I do have to give kudos to Mayo for unleashing the kid. I was against it. Just feared for the kid.
I give bigger props to AVP for the footwork development and mechanics issues and getting the kid ready

Drake is very Brady-esque. I am sure on the practice field he tells players what to do.

I was thinking about our recent Draft and wondered: IF One Player comes out of this who would you like it to be?? The #3 overall selection of course: the rest of our Draft given where we were Drafting absolutely sucks. We have to do better on Draft Day 2025.

As long as Drake is bringing in the $$$, Kraft will be content to swim in his mountains of cash like Scrooge McDuck
You'd be surprised.

They have billions and at that level, the concept of money just loses interest for them. What they hate is being dismissed.

Belichick was undermined a split second after he took the AFC Championship trophy and passed it to Jonathan like Jonathan was his servant.

You make an excellent point, and if it plays out that way, the Kraft name should become a pejorative in New England: "Wow, that dude got Krafted."

I liked when he threw that TD to Polk, he just ran off the field then turned around to congratulate the rest of the offense one by one as they made their way to the sideline. Dude definitely oozes servant leadership. Now all I want to see is some hellfire. Sometimes you need to be more than the good ol boy.
For that, we'll have to wait for some sustained winning with him at the center of it, maybe even a playoff win.

That will get him traded eventually.
Kranky Kraft thought he was talking to one of the guys on mt Rushmore … he’s gone the way of the Biden… ( not a political argument!!!!)

A Patriot legend has taken notice of Maye....Ty Law !!
He thinks he is going to be very good, loves the way he escapes the pocket, like his decision making and his big time throws.
When Ty says something, I listen and happen to agree with him wholeheartedly !!!

I always thought you and @Real fan 02 were the same poster, but now I am thinking you might be the same as the Captain.

Drake Maye: does literally anything

Me:

I remember the interview they did with Burrow earlier this season. He basically said everyone knows not to talk to him or whatnot from Friday night on. He is getting into game mode and is a different person.

Maye might be the same thing. More focused on the game and what's needed versus talking to the owner that has zero to do with the game that day.
