Agreed problem is no one wanted the job. It was hard to sell this roster to an OC with pedigree. Caley who vowed for the said no thanks and stayed a position coach with rams

We're talking about Ben Brown as an upgrade over Nick Leverett. He made a seamless transition with one week of practice. Not saying he's the future but that was a nice acquisition in a time of dire need.

The team with a record worthy of the first draft pick is usually a seller. No one wanted the players that were not building blocks, the rest were not good enough.

Anything you get right now is going to cost draft capital and be relatively short term deals that you will have to pay for this off season or next off season at the latest. Which is why the teams doing it are the ones that are looking at this years playoffs. Yes in the off season when guys hit free agency, we should start paying them to come here longterm for Maye on offense.

What do you expect from a Taxi squad Roster?? Their MO from day 1 is signing Scrubs off other Teams practice squads. Players are on the Practice squad for a reason, most are marginal NFL players you get what you pay for.

He's been in the league two seasons... the first season he played the third most offensive snaps on the team and started every game.

Last year he hurt his knee, played on a hurt knee then reinsured the same knee by being a tough guy... now he's injury prone?

He may never play again, or never play at the same level because of one debilitating injury. He was a very good player when he arrived.

People just whined because they didn't want a guard in the first round. That's why we still have these conversations.
