Great post. Belichick is human, not perfect, but he is the epitome of a successful team builder. My opinion, you don't have to agree. Too bad RK doesn't have the cohonies(?) to sit down, work out the problems and bring him back.

BB had a bunch of really bad drafts over 5 years which led to his firing. I don't care if he won every Super Bowl up until the last 5. He left the team so devoid of talent that they have the inside track for the number 1 pick this year and were in line for it last year. That is worthy of derision.

Fans are critical of Bill because of the potential he, Tom and the team’s had. Although they won 6, they left a lot on the table. No team has had as many Super Bowl opportunities like the Pats had in the that 20 year span.

That’s like if the Chicago Bulls only won 1 or 2 titles in the 90’s. They’d would be highly criticized by their fans.

I really don’t care for Payton and Brees because they flamed out after 2009 and had a short lived resurgence in 2017 which didn’t result in anything.

Mike Tomlin will probably be a HOF coach someday. I think you'd be surprised to see how critical Steelers fans are of him, much more critical than anyone is of Bill here.
