I think Jordan has been "ok".. but there had been talk about stranger possibly playing C.. it's good he's working his way back. However it will take him the remainder if the season to get back to form.. he hasn't played football in nearly a calendar year. I just want the rest of the season to be about the young guys meshing with Drake.. we know we will be getting a top 5 pick.

Our OL is awful and needs as many developmental players as possible to compete for backup positions in next year's camp. We will add 3-4 additions, but we are unlikely to have them ALL contribute in 2025. besides, we will need to 2025 camp competitors.

Soooo, the Vikings trade a 5th round pick for Cam Robinson and a 7th rounder. Robinson starts at Left Offensive Tackle, plays 100% of the game and allowed (3) pressures in 73 plays. I know what you’re thinking - couldn’t we have used Robinson as our own starting left tackle to better protect the guy returning from concussion protocol? Don’t be silly - that may have precluded our picking up “what’s his name”, you know the undrafted lineman on the Vikings practice squad and besides our 5th rounder is gonna be more like a late 4th rounder and we draft so well…..

We have no reason to rush Strange. We have Jordan. Whenever Strange is ready he can be start practicing and be put on the 53 or not. There is no emergency need to rush him. I would hope that he can have a few games this year after the bye to get some of the rust off. He should be our 2025 starter at LG. IMO, that gives us our starting OG's for 2025: Strange and Onwenu. I'm fine with that.

INTERIOR
I see us having THREE 2025 IOL starters; Strange, Andrews and Onwenu.
While I'm hopeful about Robinson, I'd be fine if Brown is the only backup that returns. Brown seems OK as a backup center, or at worst as our emergency center. We could/should ss 2--3 upgrades.

TACKLES
We have no sure things to even make the roster. I have hopes for Lowe, Jacobs, and Wallace. 2 upgrades seem likely.

BOTTOM LINE
While I show 4-5 upgrades, that is extremely difficult to accomplish, expect for our posters who can sign anyone they want and draft much better the Wolf. We still have 2-3 of OL development, especially given that 2025 will be the last year for Andrews.

I would love for Strange and Barmore to get some real in-season action this year and avoid going 20 months between games played. Not all players get all the way back after such long layoffs.

Imagine if we did an actual search and hired the best candidates, 4-13 Patriots picking 3rd overall kept the same people in personnel who have been involved in horrendous drafting and paired them with a coach who was hired 5 years ago cause the owner liked him as a person and has never been a coordinator and paired him with a cheap OC with an outdated philosophy who no one else would even think of hiring and you have one of the worst 3 teams in the league again.

4-13 Commanders picking 2nd cleaned house and did an extensive search and hired the best GM candidate on the market and a proven defensive head coach and an expensive offensive coordinator and are 7-2 and a destination and trading for pro bowl corners mid season.

Brother honestly every WR here has suffered in this offense.. I'm willing to give polk and baker more time they are rookies and polk had been the best WR in camp and caught everything thrown to him. I think he will be fine.
